SERENE'S POV～
Getting ready and removing the dress I had on earlier I instead settle for a polka dot dress with straps as the hand and the top part hugging my chest the waist down to my mid thigh flowy,taking out matching black heels,A white and black handbag,I fix my hair and makeup before getting dressed and step out towards my car taking a white range rover this time.
Driving through the same familiar roads emotions threaten to choke me but I grip the steering pushing it all away as I hate the thoughts of being bothered by anything.
I drive towards the estate area belonging to the De Angelo's and with a horn and rolling down my glass the iron steel gates part open and I drive inside bobbing my head along with the music I decided to play last minute.
Climbing down from my car with the help of an outstretched hand I look up only to meet the grey eyes of Lorenzo.
Smiling I step closer to him before embracing the man who sinks into me and I feel his tense body relaxing immediately.
''How are you baby''He says his voice sounding deeper than it usually does the husky tone making a shiver run down my spine.
''I am fine Enzo''I reply and he nods before wrapping his arms around my waist and starts heading towards the front door of the huge De Angelo mansion.
This is the main De Angelo mansion where his parents stay when they are in the states and I usually come here before while we were still dating Lorenzo and we used to have alot of fun and some mischeavous moments.
''Where is mama''I ask him about the overly bubbly and nice warm woman who is caring but is just like my mother.
No wonder they are both friends and sometimes those two are inseprable.
''She is in the kitchen making sure everything is perfect when I told her you are coming over'' Lorenzo says and chuckles while I laugh at his words knowing they are true.
We enter the huge house and I look around to see that nothing really changed about the place just a few added things here and there.
''Oh my God,you are here''I hear the voice of his mother and before I can even look at her I am suddenly envelop in her arms.
I hug her tighter and slightly raise her off the floor which makes Lorenzo laugh and his mother to squeal happily.
Hearing a voice booming with laughter behind me I drop the elderly woman only to turn and be face to face with an elderly version of Lorenzo still as handsome as ever.
His black hair gelled back and their ever similar grey eyes popped out to perfection.
I turn to look at Rosaline who has a smile on her face that makes little wrinkles appear at the crack of her eyes.
Her blonde hair put in a neat bun that makes her beautiful green eyes to pop out looking nothing but filled with love.
''Papa''I call out and hug the older man who raises me off my feet spinning me a couple times and I laugh out loud at his actions.
''Careful Aless don't hurt her''Lorenzo's mom Rosaline says and steps forward while Lorenzo just watches everything a smile on his ever cold face.
I pull away from Alessandro and move back to Lorenzo's side to which he wraps his arms around my waist from behind placing his face in the crook of my neck.
A maid soon informs Lorenzo's mom of the food being ready and I drop my bag on the chair there before following them to the dinning area.
Pulling out a chair for me I sit close to Lorenzo whose hands find their way to my thigh and I don't complain.
Small talks happen as the maids serve the dishes and silemce soon ensures when the sound of cane hitting the ground is heard.
I turn to look in the direction and see Dante De Angelo.Lorenzo's grandfather and one of the scariest people who people tremble at his presence.
we all stand up to greet the old patraiach of the De Angelo and the man immediately scowls when he sees me and I smile at him.
I feel Lorenzo interwine our fingers and I turn to smile at him reassuringly,If I am not scared of Elias De vitto then I sure as hell wouldn't be scared of Dante De Angelo.
''De vitto''The man spits out with clear distaste in his voice and Lorenzo's father is about to say something only for the man to raise his hand.
''Grandpa''I call out to irritate the old man and it works as his brows furrow and the others chuckle at my actions.
He seats at the head of the table and we all sit before we start eating our food,the food tastes amazing and I look up at Rosaline.
''It taste divine mama''I tell the woman who smiles in happiness at her food being complimented.
''Thank you Rene aren't you the sweetest''She says and Lorenzo mutters a yes which makes me jab hisside understanding what he means he lets out a chuckle and we stop laughing when Dante let's out a sneer.
''I hope you know he is getting married a month from now''He suddenly says and I pause my hand holding the cutlery tighter as a strange feeling fills my heart.
''Yes I am I wish him the best''I say and Lorenzo suddenly stands up from his chair and the chair makes a screeching sound before he starts walking upstairs.
Stunned I mutter an excuse me before going upstairs with him.
I see a door slightly ajar and walk towards it only to see Lorenzo sittig at the edge of a bed his head in between his hand his shoulders tense.
''Enzo''I call out softly and he doesn't respond, walking towards him I place my hand on his shoulder and he raises his head to look at me.
The look on his face however makes me gasp and I sit closer to him guilt eating me whole as I embrace the man.
''Please Cara''He mutters against me his lips on my shoulders''Just say the words and I'll call off the wedding,you know I love you''He says and at his words I feel my walls suddebly coming back.
''Sorry Enzo''I mutter to the man controlling the urge to just hug him and stay here''I wish you a happy married life''I finish and flee as I always do.
