THIRD POV～
TWO WEEKS LATER
Lorenzo sits besides Serene's bed his hands clasping hers in a protective yet gentle hold, it has been two weeks since the accident and serene still lies there unmoving.
Lorenzo felt dead inside,all his will to live left his body and all he wishes for right now is for his Cara to wake up again.
''Lorenzo''The voice of his mother calls out softly and he moves his head to the side to see Serene's mother and his standing there a sad smile on their faces.
''Try to eat a little''His mother tries to persuade the man who just shruggs off her hand from his shoulder.
They sigh and the women look at themselves feeling helpless.
For the two weeks that serene has been in this hospital,Lorenzo has barely eaten or even walked out of the hospital room,he has barely even slept.
They are all worried about his well being because he looked like he needed the medical attention,his skin had turned pale from the lack of sunlight and nutrition.
His eyebags stand out on his handsome face and his cheeks looks a little sunken.
''Please Lorenzo try to eat something'' Serene's mother whispers and moves forward to touch Serene's hand.
''Don't''Lorenzo growls out his voice hoarse and deep from not talking for days.
Serene's mom immediately retrieves her hand and moves towards Lorenzo's mother and they both walk out of the room.
From the moment of the accident Lorenzo's has not allowed anyone get close to Serene.
He either growled out loud or warned them not to.
''Baby''Lorenzo whispers and uses his hands to caress her hand while starring at her with a longing gaze.
He swallows the clog in his throat and hangs his head low.
The sound of the door opening is heard in the room but Lorenzo does not raise his head and instead continues resting his forehead on her hand his shoulders slumped.
A cain hits the ground before powerful footsteps fill the room and a voice rings out in the room.
''The De Angelo's heir''The deep voice of Serene's grandfather rings out and he takes powerful steps towards his beloved granddaughter.
Elia stands at the mouth of the bed starring at Serene's body,though his face looks cold and emotionless,the look in his eyes are different as it holds a gentle and worried look.
From the moment he heard of his beloved granddaughters accident rage filled him and worry.
Rage at who dared to do this to his granddaughter.
Worry because he hopes nothing happens to her she was already broken three years ago.
Elias moves closer to Serene and attempts to stop her only for his hand to be swatted away with a growl from Lorenzo.
Elias scowls and glares at Lorenzo's form his eyebrows raised.
''Do you think serene would want you if she wakes up and see you like this''The man asks provocing Lorenzo's whose eyes snap up to look at Elias.
Worry clouds his eyes at the thoughts of his Serene not wanting him again,he stands up and looks at Elias like a lost child.
''Will Cara not want me again''Lorenzo asks Elias who pretends to think before nodding his head.
Lorenzo rushes towards the door and Elias grins at his successful plan before turning to look at his granddaughter.
''You got yourself a man who loves you madly dear''Elias says and shakes his head.
He knew why his granddaughter came back to the city and at the end somebody will end up with heartbreak.
Camilla walks into the room after being asked by Lorenzo to enter she walks towards her grandfather and hugs him.
''My sweet sweet camilla''Elias says and places a kiss on her cheeks,she returns his gesture a smile on her face.
They talk for sometime before Elias decides to leave the room not before embracing his granddaughter and telling her to take care.
Camilla sits besides her sister and strretches out her hand to hold hers.
''I am sorry sisi''Camilla whispers blaming herself for what happened to her sister.
She did not mean for any of this to happen and she wishes she could turn back time.
The door to the room opens and Camilla turns to look at the door only to see giovanni standing there a small bag in hand.
He looks terrible but better than Lorenzo looked as he has also been beating himself up for what happened.
Camilla ignores his presence and just turns to look back at serene.
irritated giovanni walks closer to her and camilla's body stiffens.
''Why are you ignoring me''Giovanni asks her through gritted teeth and camilla chuckles.
''Isn't it what you have always wanted Mr De Angelo''Camilla states when suddenly giovanni uses his hand to grip her neck.
''who d-''He is cut off when the door opens and a freshly showered Lorenzo entersthe room.
His eyes narrow at the sight before him and he glares at his brother.
''Get out''Lorenzo spits coldly at his brother whose eyes immediately mirrors his guilt.
''Lorenzo'' giovanni calls out while stepping closer to his brother whose body tenses up immediately.
''I am sorry,you know how much she means to me and all of us''He says referring to Serene before walking out of the room.
