Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

When Akudama kept leaving his country and entering new ones, constantly running, he found himself in the woods. However, in the woods, his aura had a devastating effect on the trees and other living organisms, causing death and destruction.

In that moment, shock overcame him. He held his head and struck his back against the tree. As he did, the tree began to fall. In his mind, a repetitive chant echoed: "I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I am, I am, I am, I am, me me me me."

As these words resounded, Akudama's sanity slipped away. He questioned, "What does this mean? Is my mind consumed by self-obsession? Am I a vessel of evil against humanity?" His appearance turned wild, and he exclaimed, "Does this mean I am strong as well? I'm strong, I'm strong, I'm strong too?"

As his tumultuous thoughts subsided, Akudama resumed walking, gradually and with deliberate slowness. Surprisingly, the trees remained unaffected by his presence, still standing tall. As he walked, a wide, eerie smile adorned his face, his gaze fixated on the ground beneath his feet.

However, unbeknownst to Akudama, back in his city, a drastic turn of events had taken place. Without his knowledge, people had begun to place bounties on him, offering a substantial reward of 1 million units. The news of his actions had spread throughout the entire city, with the information circulating on people's phones and permeating every corner of the urban landscape. Sorcerers had been enlisted, ordered to hunt down and eliminate Akudama.

As Akudama emerged from the woods, he laid his eyes upon a small town adorned with short, brown buildings. He continued his leisurely stroll towards the town, his pace gradually decreasing. Strangely, a subtle sense of fear seemed to emanate from the people around him. It was as if their fear was attempting to resist, but ultimately, it was still present.

Even an old man accompanied by his two children displayed a hostile expression towards Akudama, yet he remained unperturbed. Undeterred by the reactions around him, he persisted in his leisurely walk, heading deeper into the heart of the city.

As Akudama wandered through the small town, his eyes scanned his surroundings with a cold, lifeless gaze. The people who caught sight of him began to experience a twinge of fear and even a sense of hatred, questioning his identity and feeling a growing unease. Whispers filled the air, with comments like, "Who is that guy? There's something strange about him. He's giving me anxiety."

Despite the attention and scrutiny directed his way, Akudama remained unaffected, his detached demeanor unwavering. Oblivious to the gazes fixed upon him, he continued his slow stride through the town. However, in an unexpected turn of events, he accidentally collided with a towering figure clad in armor. The imposing individual wore a smirk on his face, seemingly unfazed by Akudama's

presence.

As Akudama attempted to pass by the big man, he was met with a stern expression and a declaration that their encounter meant they were destined to fight. The surrounding crowd murmured in anticipation, mentioning that Akudama was about to face off against the strongest martial artist in the capital.

A woman approached both Daido and Akudama, expressing disbelief that a seemingly feeble and fragile individual could stand a chance against Daido. She confidently asserted that Akudama was bound to meet his demise at the hands of Lord Daido.

Akudama gazed up at Daido and spoke in a quiet yet deep tone, confidently asserting that if they were to engage in a fight, Daido would meet a swift demise. The people, including Daido, burst into laughter, dismissing Akudama's words as mere bravado. However, Akudama remained unfazed by their reaction, his resolve unshaken.

Daido, still chuckling, challenged Akudama, questioning his audacity for thinking he was tough after bumping into him. Akudama, almost to himself, whispered, "Why does this always happen to me?" Daido caught wind of the remark and, growing serious, demanded to know what Akudama had said. He stepped closer to Akudama's face, while the lady accompanying him smirked, eagerly observing the unfolding confrontation.

With his cold, lifeless gaze still fixed on Daido, Akudama accepted the challenge and declared his willingness to fight. In a matter of moments, they found themselves in a large open area devoid of trees, surrounded by mountains. Around 300 spectators had gathered, eager to witness Akudama's anticipated defeat at the hands of Daido.

As the fight was about to commence, the appointed person hesitated, feeling a sense of anxiety in the presence of Akudama. However, undeterred by this unease, Daido decided to initiate the battle by launching a kick towards Akudama.

In a shocking turn of events, Daido's kick severed both of Akudama's legs, leaving him writhing in agony on the ground. Daido, wearing a smirk of satisfaction, seemed pleased with the outcome. Meanwhile, Akudama, clutching his severed limbs, let out a guttural scream that echoed through the area.

However, Daido quickly silenced Akudama, demanding that he stop his screams and continue fighting. Despite the intensity of Akudama's pain, the surrounding spectators, including the woman accompanying Daido, found his suffering to be a source of amusement, and they erupted into laughter at his expense.

In a stunning twist, as Akudama lay on the ground with his lifeless eyes fixed, a miraculous occurrence unfolded. His severed legs began to regenerate, slowly but surely growing back from his body. The sight left both Akudama and the onlookers in a state of awe and disbelief, their shock palpable in the air. The impossible regeneration of his legs shattered their preconceived notions and defied all expectations.

As Daido witnessed Akudama's legs regenerating before his eyes, his anger surged, and he directed his words at Akudama with a tone filled with fury and frustration. "You demon!"
