Since Nick could fly, he was the One that opened the door and was surprised when he seen who was there,
the Vulture Rodger.
Nick was not happy about the late-night visit but knew that if he was here, it was important, and he glared at him as he opened the door wider and gestured for him to come in. As the others seen him, they were so busy being angry that they were interrupted that they didn't notice Rodger was heavily injured.
It was only when he collapsed that they noticed his back had been bleeding heavily and Doctor Sebastian rushed up to him and began to examine him. Scarlet was awake and over with her Web Head.
After she got a good look at what happened she told Doctor Sebastian what to do and as he got to work, she instructed Nick what to do in the Kitchen. Travis and Alex grabbed Scarlet after she finished the instructions and Travis said "My Love you need your rest. They will take care of everything, and you will be notified as soon as you are needed."
She looked at Rodger once again and nodded her head to say "If you need anything just let me know. I love you guys."
After Scarlet was taken to bed, Nick and Doctor Sebastian quickly finished up with everything and Nick went to bed. Doctor Sebastian was left to watch after Rodger and make sure that he would be fine to make it out throughout the Night.
As the Sun began to rise and Scarlet started to stir the group was happy that they were having a peaceful Morning and Travis looked at her and said "Good Morning my Love. What would you like to do today?"
With another stretch Scarlet sniggled into the closest Mate and said, "You can get up if you want, I want to stay here." Nick was the luckiest One in the Morning because he was the One that she snuggled into.
With a grin taking over his face completely he said, "I am good here. If you would like anything I will get it for you." Kissing her head he snuggled closer and couldn't be happier than he was at this moment.
The others in the room were not happy that they weren't the Lucky One, and Alex who was closer to the side of the bed got out and said, "I'm going to check on our guest, and I'll bring something back for you, my Love."
As they were taking it easy this Morning it was a surprise that they didn't have any visitors.
After Alex returned to the room with food and juice for Scarlet, she was so excited that she couldn't help but bounce up and down on the bed. Alex rushed up and said "I have something small for you to eat. I didn't know if you would like to still have this or something else and I got your favorite juice."
He handed Travis the plate of food he reached over to Nick to help Scarlet drink some juice and make the next bit of news a little easier to handle.
Alex took a breath and said, "Rodger is awake, and he said that he needed to speak with you when you get up."
The rest of the group was upset when he finished speaking and quietly sat there as Scarlet nibbled on the food that Travis was feeding her. She played with him some when he fed her by nibbling on his fingers, thus making him chuckle in response.
After she stalled long enough Scarlet got up, got ready for the day, and proceeded to walk out to find out what brought Rodger here.
When they walked out to the Sitting Area, they seen Rodger laying on a couch still on his stomach. Doctor Sebastian came over to Scarlet the instant that he seen her and said "He was on a scouting mission and was attacked by those that are loyal to the Strange Males. The others that were with him were either killed or scattered to the Winds. Since he knew where we were heading, he made sure to not be followed as he made his way here."
Scarlet was upset when she heard that last part. Scarlet didn't like the idea of people knowing where she was, it didn't matter that they all knew why she was here, but she still didn't like knowing it.
Rodger was laying there in shock as he seen Scarlet's face change when Doctor Sebastian informed her of the events that transpired before that led him to come here.
He was worried that he would be kicked out or worse killed.
As Scarlet looked in his direction, she slowly made her way over to him. Alex was right behind her with his lower half changed and he brought his tail up and sat her on it. After making sure that she was comfortable she looked at Rodger and said, "I will have Young Chef Josh help you find lodging for the Cold Moons."
After Scarlet finished speaking Rodger was shocked to hear this and before he could say anything Scarlet said "They already know that I'm here. There is no reason to worry about being fallowed."
Rodger looked at Scarlet and said, "I'm sorry 'Great Spirit' but there is also something important that I found out."
