Travis said, "One of Elder Chef Blazes Top Advisors came into the Training Area… he came rushing in…" Taking a breath he continued "A Village was under attack from an army that was led by One of the Strange Males." He seen her face change and he stopped to let that sink in before he finished "There was an assassination attempt and you have been asleep for Three Days."
Scarlet's face dropped and she became pail. Her hand went to her stomach, and she looked down immediately and in a panicked voice asked, "Are the babies, okay?" Doctor Sebastian grabbed her arms and got her to look at him as he said "The babies are just fine. You are still Pregnant."
As she held his gaze her eyes were tearing up and she asked in a Weak voice "I didn't hurt the babies? Did I?"
She had everyone in tears as she asked that. They were all quick to tell her that the Young were safe and that she was not allowed to be stressed and needed her to calm down. As she did her best to stay calm Nick had some Lavender and Chamomile Tea with a Tree Sap she liked.
They all sat there and just held her while trying to keep her calm. They wanted to try to get her to focus on her health and breathing.
It was after dark when Scarlet was finally calmed down enough for them to feel comfortable enough to be able to relax. They were about to feed her and get her back to sleep when he suddenly appeared.
As the group turned their heads towards the intruder, they all instinctively took defensive positions. The group went to hand the children to Scarlet and Parker moved in front of her. As the Intruding Male finally got to his feet and when he looked up, they were all shocked to see just who it was.
Young Chef Josh was in shock to see them and stuttered as he said, "I I Is s s ssssh She r r re really a wake?"
Scarlet said from behind the wall of muscle "Yeah. I'm awake. What is it?"
Travis glared at him and said "It doesn't matter why he is here. You almost died in his care, and you will NOT be going anywhere with him. Regardless of what is going on I will not go through that again."
The rest of them said something along the same line leaving Scarlet speechless behind everyone.
Young Chef Josh said "I don't want her to be hurt any more than you all do. But we are going to be at War by Morning."
This news shocked everyone in the room and Scarlet was about to get up and offer to help when Alex had her in his arms and he was glaring at her. In a 'no questions' voice he said, "You are not going to fight, and we won't let you fight either."
Scarlet sat there with an innocent expression and said "I didn't do or say anything…"
With tears building in her eyes Alex's face fell and Nick came over and hit him on the back of the head. He had upset their Female and after they just got her calmed down. Nick snatched her from Alex and began to comfort her.
He said "It's okay my Love. We will handle everything, and you will be in charge of our Young."
Doctor Sebastian rushed to Scarlet and checked her over. Finding that she was okay he said "If anyone needs to fight it will be us. We never really got the chance to show off for you during a battle before."
Nick turned to Young Chef Josh and said, "When is the battle supposed to be happening?"
Young Chef Josh said "The Battle is between the Clans from the surrounding lands, and they are led by those that follow the Strange Males. They have Strange Weapons and there is no way that we will be able to defeat them without the 'Great Spirits' help."
Travis turned to him and was furious as he said "She will not fight, and I will stay off to the side. She will be there for advising only! If there is any chance that she will be hurt, then she will leave the area immediately!"
As Scarlet heard what they had to say she felt all of their anger and became upset as well. Tears started to form in her eyes, and she said "I'm sorry…" She began to cry uncontrollably because of all the Emotions of anger and fear that were pouring off of them. With Scarlet being pregnant and with all the Emotions that filled the room she couldn't handle everything.
Everyone in the room turned to her and tried to calm her down. Travis said in a soothing voice "My Love everything is just fine. You did nothing wrong, and everything will be just fine. My Sweet Love please don't be upset; I am sorry about all the Negative Emotions."
They stood there for a long time and tried to help Scarlet calm down. Nick turned back to Young Chef Josh he said "What time is the attack happening? What else have you found out about the Traitors?"
