Chapter 130 - Ch. 93 P. 4

The group watched as he stared at the bowl of soup and Nick said in a joking manner "Is there something wrong with the food?"

Elder Chef Blaze was brought back to reality with Nick asking the question and was quick to say "No! No no no nothing is wrong. What is this delicious food called?"

Everyone laughed and Scarlet groaned in pain as she laughed herself, which resulted in a whole new round of swatting for her. She gestured for Nick to answer his question and tried to keep her sanity when the rest of them kept fussing over her.

Nick walked over to Elder Chef Blaze and said "It is called soup. If you would like to know how to make it, I can teach you. As payment for the lessons, we will require a place to stay for the Cold Moons."

Elder Chef Blaze was taken back by that comment almost as much as Scarlet was. He was about to answer when Scarlet said "Who said that we are staying? We need to get on the road to hunt down those other Males as soon as possible. We can't stay. We will leave tomorrow morning."

Everyone was shocked by what she said, and Travis spoke up to tell her why they couldn't leave "Do you remember that storm not too long ago where it was so cold, we couldn't leave?"

When Scarlet replied that she indeed remembers, he continued "The Cold Moons are when the weather is like that every day, and it is not safe to be moving around at that time. Since you are so injured and insist healing on your own on, it would be better to wait here and have you take your time healing, and we can gather more information on those Other Males whereabouts."

Seeing that this was not going to convince her he finished with his trump card "Young have been known to die from exposure before, when Tribes were forced to move during this time."

With a huff Scarlet said "Fine we can stay. But I'm not putting up with others cr*p and will not be talked to like I'm trash or disrespect my Males and Young. That stunt your Offspring pulled with talking about my Son like that is not going to Fly with me understand."

Shaking his head like a bobble head doll the Elder Chef agreed with her terms even though he didn't know what 'Fly with me' meant. He was not about to miss the chance of having the 'Great Spirit' leave them just like that, especially right after she freed them. After all that she had been through. To be able to kill those Strange Males. The Ones that even his greatest worriers could not defeat.

He was going to try to convince her to stay for good and never leave. That would be perfect since she already had a Male from their clan as a Mate already. They would become the strongest clan ever and no One would be able to stop them. They could prosper in ways others could only dream of.

As Elder Chef Blaze was formulating his plan, not realizing that Scarlet was watching him carefully. She had a feeling about the Male but couldn't put her finger on it at the moment and decided that if it was important then she would think about it later.

The group talked about housing and accommodations as Elder Chef Blaze finished his food and was about to leave as Scarlet started to dose off. This freaked Scarlet's Group out because she still had a concussion and couldn't sleep.

Elder Chef Blaze said, "I'll leave you to care for the 'Great Spirit' and don't worry I will make all the arrangements for your stay." Nick addressed him and said "Okay thank you Elder Chef. We will wait for the news about our new accommodations."

As he left the group to care for the 'Great Spirit' he went to handle the necessary arrangements as quickly as possible. He had so many things to prepare for her and made her stay as nice as possible.

Doctor Sebastian was already doing an assessment and he said, "You can't move to much or your stitches will tear, we can't have that now so be good please."

Scarlet looked innocently at her Male and said "Well, Doctor Sebastian what do you recommend I do?"

With a blush on his face, he said "Well, my sweet 'Little Spirit' how about we clean your wounds, and I will go over your treatment as I do so. Do you agree with that?"

With a sly smile she said "I do feel that would be a good idea, Doctor. I feel much safer with you threatening me."

As he changed her bandages he tried to add as much detail as possible to show her just how much he learned from her. When she was cleaned and rebadged, she said "You did good Web Head, I couldn't be in better hands." His face reddened and he lowered his eyes to the ground trying to hide his embarrassment.
