Just being grateful to see her again and that she still cared and wanted him to be around, Travis didn't argue with her and got into the water. Moving as instructed he just closed his eyes and enjoyed the attention he was getting. For however long it would last.
When he heard a big Splash, he opened his eyes and seen her head popping out of the water. He went to grab her, but she swatted his hand away and said, "Turn around and put your head back." As he did as she asked, he felt her hands running through his hair and it felt wonderful as she massaged it.
Scarlet saw that he had a gash on his head and since she was covered in his sweat and blood she would just rinse off as well while she took care of his head. As she reached into the think mane of hair, she realized how much she loved the way it felt. It reminded her First time being able to stick her hands in it, when they were at the stream after they left the Execution Platform where they had their First face to face meeting. She had cleaned him up and examined his wounds just like now and she realized that it was the Second time she almost lost him.
After she got him cleaned up and bandaged by a fire that Inferno had started for them, she didn't think about the band on her arm. Scarlet was about to get changed herself when Travis said in a hoarse voice "Was he gentle with you?"
Scarlet was taken back by the question and with a confused look said "What?"
Travis gently took her arm and, in a tone, just as gentle said "Was he good to you when you both Mated? I know it was your First time and Snakes can be Rough when Mating."
Scarlet's face turned Redder than a Cherry as she swallowed and said "Yes, I was not hurt at all. Just a Little sore after, but that is normal."
She didn't know what else to say about the matter between her and Alex and just left it at that. Not wanting to talk about the matter anymore she tried to change the subject by asking if he was hungry.
Before he could answer both of their stomachs rumbled at the same time and after they stared at each other in silence for a few seconds they both broke out into laughter. They both worked on dinner together and after they ate and cleaned up Scarlet lazily lay on Travis' lap, and he held on to her as tight as he could without hurting her.
He made a vow to himself that he would never leave her again until she sent him away. Tilting her head to face him he said, "I'm sorry for leaving I won't do that again." With that said he kissed her. The kiss started out soft and sweet that changed into a more passionate One. The longer they kissed the more passionate it became, and Travis wanted to take it further but didn't dare until she gave the word. As much as he wanted to Mate with her, he wouldn't put her in that situation. Especially since she had just Mated Alex the other night.
Scarlet felt the fire building up in her and she had to have him it didn't matter if they were in the open or a closed room. Making the move to take things to the Next level something happened.
The power that they both had started to mingle. Since Females got the Males power when they Mated Travis' power would be open to her. This was something that her body was not prepared for because he was so much stronger than her.
She broke the kiss and said, "You're too strong for me, we can't do this now." Then could not stop herself from going on the attack with him. She had to have him, but she would be hurt if she did, but her 'Sacred Area' was throbbing with an aching need For him. Travis laid her down and said, "We don't need to go all the way now, but I can take care of you." With that he slowly moved his hand down her stomach until he reached the hem of her Pants making her moan into his mouth. Rocking her hips up she said, "Travis Please."
He slowly slid his hand into her pants and was in no rush to reach that spot they both wanted him to be. Scarlet bit his lip and said his name again and it was then that he decided to stop playing and his hand made its way to that spot.
Scarlet's head snapped back, and his name left her lips at soon as he made contact. Smiling to himself he said, "Let me now when you want me to stop." She was so into what he was doing what he said didn't even register. Kissing and sucking her neck and making his way to her chest he had to know what she tasted like everywhere. He completely devoured her leaving her breathless when he finished.
Scarlet was Spent when he was finished with her. Even though they didn't Mate or even go that far she still felt very satisfied and was so exhausted that she ended up falling asleep in his arms.
Travis could not be any happier than he was now. His Female did still want him. Sadly, though if it wasn't for the Power thing they would have Mated tonight and truly would have been together. Hating that fact but loving the feeling of having her in his arms again he was content until they could Truly become Mates.
The next day Travis woke up with his Female in his arms and could not be happier. He kissed the top of her head, snuggled her close and stayed like that until she woke up about mid-morning.
When Scarlet woke up, she stretched and snuggled into Travis' embrace saying, "Why does it need to be Morning?"
Laughing Travis said "I'm sorry I don't know how to keep it from rising. Do you have a way?"
Giving a giggle of her own she said "Sadly no, but we do need to get going. Fan boy is freaking out I can feel it." Looking at Travis she said "Is that normal? For me to feel his feelings."
Frowning and drawing his brows together he said "I haven't herd of that happening before. Usually, it's only the Male that feels the Females feels. The Male only gives her his Power not Emotions. Although you are a special case with this."
With a questioning look clearly on her face Travis continued "I have never heard of a Female having a full band on her arm before. This alone could bring on a whole new list of possibilities. You are a unique Female as well so I think we can ask around and see what information we can dig up on this."
After breakfast they headed out and Scarlet didn't make it far because her legs had gotten a workout the last Two days, so Travis changed into his Black Tiger Form and let her rest on his back.
Scarlet started to dose off again because of the slight rocking on Travis' back and his Soft Warm Fur was so comfortable. When she woke up Travis had just stopped for a break and checked on her and make sure that she was okay. She asked "Where are we? How long have I been asleep?"
Travis said "We are almost to where we left the group yesterday and you slept almost the whole way, it's the afternoon now. Are you hungry? Or do you want to keep going?"
Scarlet looked at him and said, "I'm not to hungry what about you?" When he said that he was fine to continue they took off again. Being on his Strong and Steady back soon she fell back asleep.
It was after sunset when they reached the group and Scarlet was just starting to stir because of the noise. When she opened her eyes, she noticed that she was face to face with a Petrified Nick and she was shocked awake. She shot up and said "What's going…" before she could finish speaking, she felt herself getting lifted from her Warm and Comfy spot and was engulfed in the Fridge Cold Embrace of Doctor Sebastian.
He looked her over and made sure that she was fine and only then could he breathe a sigh of Relief. He started to explain when she was suddenly snatched from him and again checked by none other than Alex. She called out "I'm fine stop with all the checking already!"
Alex held her tightly in his arms and said "I could feel what you were going through, and it was killing me inside. I wanted to go to you but knew that you wouldn't have wanted that. I am just so glad that you are safe." After he said that he gave her Kissed that released every ounce of the Fear and Desperation that he felt since she ran away Yesterday.
