Chapter 1
"Walking in the sea with a clear sky is my dream vacation", says Selena.
"Oh that would feel good after the project" Divine replied.
"I'm tired of everyday coffee shop" selena added
"atleast, we have a good place every day, we'll miss this if we'll be relocated in different office." Divine replied
"yeah, that's for sure" Selena agreed
As they were sitting in their favorite coffee shop that night, a man entered the shop with a long and black soldier's coat and brushed up blond hair, ordered a black coffee and sat beside the table of the two ladies. As the man sips his coffee, the two ladies observe and had a conversation
"he's handsome, he looks so unique and smells good" selena says
"I agree, but I'm loyal to Zenas" Divine replied
"I don't care though, im not askin!" Selena jokingly replied
Divine made fun of Selena's singleness and all her relationship experiences. How she had her first boyfriend when she's 15 and how it went the same experience with her next 5 other exes.
As the night passes by, the man beside them stood and left the shop. The two ladies saw something in the man's table 5 minutes after the man left the shop. They curiously went near the small item and they saw a small electronic chip with a note saying "scan". Selena used her power "analysis" to the chip and she saw military information from other nations. They decided to go after the man but they did not find any trace of him. They decided to go home and just hide the chip
In Selena's room, as she writes her daily work report, the chip suddenly beeps 3 times and every part of the chip went red. (indicating that the chip is ready to be scanned and the scanner is nearby). Selena has no idea on what to do. Still, she scanned again but the same information appeared in her analysis. As she keeps analyzing the chip, someone knocked on her door. (Everyone who knows her knows that there is a hidden doorbell at the bottom-right of the door and since she's alone in her apartment, only those whom she trusted knows where the bell is). She went at the door to take a look at the door's camera. She saw the man in black soldier's coat. She asked through the camera's speaker what's the matter. The man kindly asked about the chip because the scanner detected the chip nearby and it pointed to her apartment. Selena is overwhelmed with nervousness, not because of the chip, but because the handsome man is just behind the door. So, she rattled and immediately fixed her hair, looked at the mirror, and checked if her breath smells good. She took the chip and run in front of the door and exhaled to relax herself. As she opened the door, she smiled and the man was surprised of the hospitality. She let him go inside to take a sip of her coffee and the man agreed. The man now sat on the sofa and took the coffee that was served to him. Then Selena took the chip and went in the living room where the man is sitting. The man asked him of the unusual hospitality. (he discerned with her power that the lady is careful in letting people in her apartment).
"So, what's with the unusual welcome?" The man asked
"Nothing, I just feel like welcoming you" Selena answered
"Let me guess, your favor is discernment like me?" the man asked
"no, I'm analytical" Selena answered
"oh. I thought you're favored emotionally" the man replied
"nope, im favored with intellectual" Selena answered
After the small talks, the man asked about the chip
"so, as I asked earlier, do you have it?" the man asked
"yeah. This one" Selena answered as she put the chip on the table
"So, if you're favored with intellect, I guess you've analyzed the chip" the man guessed
"yeah about that, im sorry if I saw something the public can't see" Selena humbly answered
"as if you can unsee" the man kiddingly replied.
"anyway, let me tell you about the chip and why I took an effort to find it even this late night." The man told the lady
The chip originated from an artificial intelligence robot who is made to analyze information around the world. He is named Genesis: The omnipotent AI It is made to make clear evidence of everything that is happening around the world. The AI robot is forbidden and is hidden in the Philippines. Due to its power, it analyzed every power of the current 8,063,323,100 people of the planet even the people who were dead after it was made. It can also steal information from every satellite no matter how far it is from the world. Since the One World Organization (OWO is an organization which every country around the world is a member) banned the robot, it was ordered to be destroyed in the point black (center of the Pacific Ocean) and recovering it is punishable by international law of banishment from this world. Before the robot was destroyed, it secretly produced a back up chips which consist of 10 microchips and a blueprint of a scanner and gave it to its creator which is a scientist from the Philippines. The scientist who's known as "The point" Hide from publicity and made his own fort in the mountains up in the north of the country. The scientist even made alliance with the country's military. The country made a special force specifically to protect "the point". A corps of 50,000 soldiers fully equipped. Soldiers who are allowed to go anywhere is the major-general with the pure black coat and the brigadier general down to captain with limited time. The White-coated soldiers are not allowed to go anywhere unless with higher ranks position.
The conversation continued with the two
"so you're a high-ranking official" Selena asked
"yeah. Anyone who talked to me outside the fort must be known be the fort. Or else, you will be killed" the man said
"oh, so what will happen to me? " selena asked
"nothing. Forget about everything that happened this night. What can I do for you to make you silent?" the man asked
"hmm. Let me think. Sex? I guess?" Selena temptingly answered
"alright." The man answered while taking off his coat
"no! im kidding! I'm so sorry" Selena nervously answered
"oh. I thought you were serious!" the man answered as his face turned red
"no! im just kidding! You don't have to do anything! Fine! I'll forget everything about tonight!" Selena nervously answered
"are you sure? Money? Protection? What do you want?" the man asked
"no nothing. Its ok….. wait…. I can ask a favor though" Selena answered
"What is it? Be serious if you want sex" the man replied
"NO! don't be crazy! But can I talk to you anytime?" Selena asked
"we're strict when it comes to communication. So how about this? I'll meet you in the coffee shop every 10th of the month at 5am?" the man answered
"oh sure. It's just a little early compared to my daily routine" Selena replied
"alright. Looks like we have a deal. Make sure you don't tell anyone what you heard tonight. Even those things that you saw in the chip" the man asked
"yeah. You have my word" Selena answered
"thanks for the coffee. I'll have to make my way back before the dawn" says the man
"ok. Thanks for coming. I guess" selena answered
Then the man stood and went his way out of Selena's apartment. As a courtesy, Selena stood in the hallway as the man is walking away. She suddenly remembered to ask his name
"wait! If I may ask, your name?" Selena asked
"…they call me Cyrus" he replied as he walked away.
