Blaire's eyes lit up as she walked into the cozy room, spotting Maxwell with Olivia and Richard seated. A warm smile spread across her face, and she couldn't hide the excitement. "Maxwell!" she exclaimed, rushing over to him.
Maxwell looked up from his coffee, and a grin mirrored Blaire's enthusiasm. "Blaire! It's been too long," he said, standing to greet her with a tight hug. "I've missed our training in the pack."
Blaire sighed, sinking into the chair opposite him. "You have no idea how much I missed this – our talks, your company," she admitted, tracing the rim of her coffee cup.
Maxwell chuckled a familiar sound that brought back a flood of memories. "I've been feeling the void too. Life just isn't the same without our conversations," he confessed, taking a sip of his coffee.
Blaire leaned in, her eyes earnest. "Things have been crazy lately, and I found myself thinking about our discussions, the laughter. It feels like a piece of me was missing."
