Chapter 1 - The day

Lillia paced around her room, her feet walking none stop. Her fingers where in her lips biting it down hard.

Today was the day when she would meet the king of dradevows, her husband to be.

She had never seen this suppose husband of hers, and the thought of meeting him today feared her to her bone. Soon her mom eager voice called out her name.

"Lillia the carriage here already",

Lillia slowly Walked out of her room, slowly coming out of the house. She saw her mom who had a very happy expression, not caring about the fact that I daughter was getting married to a stranger.

Lillia got into the carriage with her mother and the carriage moved on,she continued staring back at her home,a place she had grown up in, a place full of memories. She couldn't believe that all that was going to be wiped out from her life completely.

She took a deep breath, coming into acceptance of her new fate, she looked at the red beautiful gown. The gown flowed down her long legs, her brown hair was let plaited to a loose braid behind her, she definitely knew that today was one of her most finest days.

Her mom Amelia looked at her daughter, she touched her daughter palm which was rested at her lap.

"Your dad is going to be proud of you lillia",

Lillia dad had died due to a fire crash in his work place, leaving lillia and her mother alone.

Lillia gave her mum a smile, then she looked out the carriage saying goodbye to the very place, her town Goodbye.

   Fourteen minutes later...

They arrived at the castle, which was lit up with touches of fire and right now it looked beautiful. There was also other carriage coming in and out, coming out of the carriage was guest, their clothe where different with beautiful material and texture.

Lillia came down from the carriage staring at the big stairs leading to the inside of her new home. She gulp as anxiety took over her, she took a step back feeling overwhelmed. But then a hand was felt on her shoulders, she turned and saw her mother, smiling at her daughter before leading her in.

Two guards came towards them,

"Come this way please", they said.

Lillia was almost ready to bolt by their politeness because she knew no one was suppose to know the king wife to be for now until he announced it, but her mom hand which was on her hand tugged at her.

They quietly followed the guard, they walked inside the castle that had beautiful carved door, there was paintings in the ceiling that was lit up by the chandeliers which gave out golden light. The other elite kept walking forward, paying little attention to the design, except from Lilla who was admiring the paintings as her mom dragged her into the castle.

Lillia found the paintings enchanting, her mouth wide open, the sparkle of the chandelier seemed to glimmer their crystals at her face, she was beyond beautiful.

As they got closer to what seems to be the ball room, music already reaching their ears.

"This is going to be a good night lillia", her mom said softly.

Lillia looked at her mom, the happy face was gone and replaced by a sad expression. She rubbed her mom hand that was holding her's in place.

"I'll miss you mom", lillia said with a heavy feelings.

Her words only seemed to make few drops of tears fall from her mom's eyes, which the woman quickly wiped away not wanting for her daughter to see her.

They soon arrived at the ball room, lillia and her mother jaw dropped at the huge ball room. The room was decorated with golden paintings and candle light was around the large wall, the tiles glimmered under the big chandeliers up of the roof. Many people was spread around the room, some dancing with their half in the dance floor.

The guards that led them, bowed and turned around. Lillia held her mom hand tighter with her two hands not wanting to let go, her mom held her's tighter too, she loved her daughter to let go of her, but she had no choice when a man in mask came towards her and whispered to her ears.

Lillia saw the tall man with mask walk up to her mother and whispered in her ears, she didn't know why she she felt more fear.

Her mother nodded at the man and faced her daughter. Lillia finally got the message, the man was here to get her, to take her away from her mother. She began shaking her head when her mother stared at her with tears in her eyes.

"No, am not leaving you", lilla soft wailing voice seemed to sadden her mom.

"You.... you.. have to lilla" her mother voice came out choked from tears.

"I don't", lilla said with tears in her eyes.

"I love you Lillia and .... your dad....does too ..", the woman touched her chest"you would always be here with me my daughter",.

The mask man beckoned at two guards who came to his side .

"It time milady", the maskman spoke.

Lillia felt her mom hand slip for her hand, the guards led her to a huge stairs that led to the inside of the castle. Lillia kept on looking back, watching her mom crying face keep on disappearing as she went deep, Soon she couldn't see her mother anymore, she turned round, her head down, she wept quietly as she followed the maskman.

"Stay here", the maskman deep voice ordered her rough. She looked around, they where in a passage way, strange.

"Huh? but..." She was about to talk, when the maskman and the guards left her. Lillia suddenly felt lonely, she suddenly felt cold, she missed her mother so bad already. She stood at the spot they left her for many minutes till she decided to just explore a little, staying close to where the rude maskman left her. She looked at the huge pictures of the royal family hung around and huge walls, in one of the image she could see a stern looking man with dark hair by his side was a woman with silver hair, the woman expression was different from the King's stern look instead it was expressionless. Not a single emotion was in her face. Lillia passed it and stared at the next one, which was exactly like the other one, she moved to the next and this time it was only the king with a bunch of old people.

To the next one she saw only two grannies with brown hair.

She kept on going to the next pictures

, going deep into the castle.

Soon a particular picture caught her attention, a little boy with long silver hair stood alone, his face just like the earlier woman was emotionless, his statue was perfect.

"Who could he be?", She muttered to herself.

"Turn around to find out",

A deep voice echod  behind her, she felt a hot breath at her shoulders and quickly turned around only for her lips to crush into something, she quickly took a step back and looked at the person who didn't know what privacy was.

As she was about to give the person a word, her eyes met with the most beautiful eye she had ever seen, a blue deep ocean eye, which had nothing on it. His silver hair glimmered, almost blinding to the eye. His face all angled and his lips inviting her in. His body on the other hand was beyond anything.

Lillia gulped, she wished on that very spot that this person was her future husband. But as she continued looking the man smirked knowing that she was checking him out.

"Done checking me out", his deep voice said, ringing in her brain, jolting her up. If anyone saw her with anyone that wasn't the king, she would be in huge danger.

"Would you please excuse me? Am waiting for the King", she Said hoping for him to go. His beauty was pulling her in and if she wasn't careful she might fall in love with this beautiful creature that looked like a god who came to show the humans what beauty was.

But her statement seemed to make his smirk grow wilder.

"Let me guess you are lillia",his voice trailed off. Lillia could see that he was taking a good look at her from head to her feet, lingering a little bit at her breast. Lillia face went red and hot, she felt like she was on fire.

"Ho .how .....dare you.... look at ..me like ..that", she could hardly speak.

The man chuckled lowly then he lifted his hand up, trapping her to the wall.

"Maybe it because.....",

Lillia didn't let him finish talking as she began to threaten him.

"Let me go this instant or you might lose your head, let me go", she was trying to push his strong hands that were both at her  side.

"How can you say that to your... husband".
