"I almost got caught."
Levi said as he took the handkerchief off his face. He planned to destroy one of the academy buildings to make it seem like there was an attack....which it was. Then the academy would investigate the incident and increase their security for a while, which would result in them indirectly preparing for the upcoming attack.
'The academy will hide the fact that someone had attacked- after all they do not want any trouble regarding their security.'
Levi looked at his status and saw that his mana was now at 0. That attack took the most out of him. He at first collected a stack of grass and then burnt it. Once the head chef opened the door and shouted for everyone to run, Levi pulled an arrow and aimed at one of the gas cylinders.
Since the kitchen was far from the dining area, the fire did not spread to any of the other buildings and there were no casualties...just a lot of resignation letters from the kitchen staff.
He waited for ten minutes for everyone to go out. Once everyone was out he fired the arrow into one of the gas cylinders. The strength behind the arrow was so powerful that it managed to pierce through even three further cylinders.
'This plan only worked cause this world does not have any security cameras yet. Though it was quite "nerve-wracking" to cut grass in the middle of the academy without being caught.'

[The day of the attack.]
"Do not think too much about what happened yesterday. It was just because of gas leaking and nobody was hurt."
Fiona said to the entire classroom. It was as Levi had predicted, after all, one of the staff met eyes with him and he had reported about it. The academy decided to bury the information and increase their security.
Everybody breathed a sigh of relief but now they wondered.
'Who is going to make food for us?'
"The building will be reconstructed within a week so until then you have to dine somewhere else or cook."
The whole sentence sounded like the worst punishment for the students after all none of them had cooked anything in their life- not even boiled water.
"Now let's get back to classes."
While she was teaching she was sneaking glances at someone at the corner of the room.
'How does he even see when his eyes are being covered by his hair?'
Today Fiona was not fully focused on teaching, her mind always wandered and her eyes often tried looking at Levi. She too noticed her odd behaviour and tried to focus.
'Did I have to donut yesterday? It must be the sugar rush thats making me look at him.'
There is no thing as sugar rush.
Irene and Eliza also noticed Fiona looking somewhere. Irene and Eliza turned back and noticed Fiona sneaking glances at Levi.
'Did that loser get into trouble or something?'
Irene said to herself and saw Eliza also staring at Levi.
'Is she jealous that her master is paying someone else attention?'
No Eliza was not jealous. She was angry, she then looked to her left and noticed three of her goons missing.
'Why is he still in the academy and my class? Just why? Are those idiots not bothering him enough? Only by looking at him, I can feel my blood boil. I do not think I have ever been angry with someone this much in my life. Ahhh...'
Eliza hit her thigh in frustration.
'Just go away you freak.'

The classes ended and Levi went back to his dorm. He walked slowly taking in the view, the earthy smell of the ground and the pricking sensation of mana in his lungs. Though he did not "feel" anything, he always liked to get lost in the wonders of nature, after all, he found nature fascinating.
"It is a mess and most of it does not make sense but in the end, it is the most "beautiful" thing to have, is and will exist."
He got inside his dorm, got changed and started training. He lit up the mana cigarette. The cigarette had the aroma of a rose and it filled his room. Just a single puff would produce twice as much smoke as a normal cigarette.
At his level, he was only allowed to smoke once per day, otherwise, he could die from mana overloading his lungs. After smoking, he started his pure mana cultivation and he was so focused that he did it for four hours straight.
The attack would begin at 10pm and it was just 5pm. Now all he had to do was wait. He took out a book from his table and read it. He had nothing. He could train but that would just exhaust him before the big fight.
While he waited his mind started to wander and he followed it like a bee following the sweet smell of a flower. Now he was not cultivating, he was meditating on his thoughts.
A psychopath's mind is always running with thoughts, at first, they start with what they feel but then they remember their feeling is like the bottom of an abyss- it does not exist.
Then to at least feel something, they commit crimes cause that is the only
thing that they have left to do. Some enjoy it, some do not do it again while Levi never did it.
He would be lying if he did not have such thoughts. Those thoughts tried to make him do things that one could not even imagine, to begin with, and if he did it, he would no longer be human.
Levi kept on breathing and letting go. He never fought against his thoughts after that were "his" thoughts and no man can win a fight against themselves.
The night was here. Its darkness covered the whole academy and made way for something sinister. Levi looked at the two moons in the sky through his window. The dim moonlight striking his face revealed the ethereal beauty on his face. He had a scar on the left side of his face, but his beauty was like the moon, beautiful despite its spots.
A musty and fishy smell entered his nose. He stood up grabbed his bow and carried his arrows in a quiver. He then used his Search Skill.
Levi Senses expanded. He could hear the sound of crickets, the sound of clock ticking and footsteps coming from the right side of his.
He aimed his bow at the corner of the window. As soon as he saw and sensed the silhouette of a person, he let go of his arrow.
*Swish*
The arrow pierced the air, then the window and hit that person right in the head. Levi opened his window and saw a person with a dagger in his hand and an arrow passing his skull.
The psycho had finally killed someone but his heart did not feel or beat. It is calm, never wavering....dead. Like the ocean at night, no matter how much you tried to search for something at the bottom, all you find is darkness. That is what Levi's heart is like.
Levi took out the arrow from the corpse and. The sounds of students screaming, someone shouting and explosions were now ringing in his ears.
"So it starts."
