"We're so sorry," Lena and Ericka acted all cute so Rowena would not scold them anymore.
"So, what time did Sir James ask to meet you three here?" Loreen inquired once the three had finally settled down.
She also seated herself at the comfortable sofa set in the lounge.
Three glanced at each other as if not wanting to say what time it was since they already knew Loreen would scold them even more.
The three had staring contest until one of them gave way and decided to speak for them.
"8:30 AM," Ericka said in a low voice.
"What?!" Loreen suddenly wanted to scold these three even more. "You were supposed to meet him here at 8:30 but you came at 7:00 and waited outside in the cold?! You were an hour and thirty minutes early."
Loreen could not stop herself from gawking at them.
"We got too excited and we did not want to risk getting late," Ericka responded nervously, preparing herself to get scolded. The other two did as well.
