Loreen was reminded that she was right to part with Edric, after all. She didn't want to feel like this anymore. She didn't want this kind of treatment.
"Mother, say that again, and I won't even explain anything to you anymore.
If you are not here to listen, then, please leave," Edric warned with a dark look on his face.
"Edric!
Why do you keep taking her side?"
"Mother, how would you feel if father divorced you and no longer takes your side?" Edric said and everyone gawked at him.
Even Loreen was so surprised he could say something like this to his mother now.
She knew he was just citing an example but it was still too shocking.
"Edric, you know I'm never going to do something like that," Mr. Harvey quickly butt in after seeing the expression on his wife's face.
"See? Father is taking your side too, isn't he? Mother?" Edric returned with sarcasm.
