The hypnosis only lasted on Loreen for three days. They thought it would at least last for a month or more, but it didn't.
"You were able to remember everything after three days?
Why didn't you call me?" Edric inquired.
He was confused since if she recalled everything after three days, she could have informed him. So, why didn't she?
Why not indeed?
Loreen should have told him the instant she recalled and asked for his help.
However, reality wasn't that easy.
"I was terrified.
When they hypnotized me, they repeatedly told me to forget everything again in case I remember.
Or else they would do something to me and you.
I was sure they meant they would kill us.
I was so scared that I didn't know what to do," Loreen gulped.
"I see… It must have been difficult for you," Edric held her hand, his hands still bandaged.
She let him be since she needed the comfort.
