If Edmund wasn't Edric's cousin, and if only her relationship with her in-laws were better, she would have gone straight to the cops to report Edmund.
But because he was related to her husband, and as thanks to Aunt Selma for stopping it, Loreen was swallowing her pride and her morals and was not going to report him.
