"He did? I'm sorry. I haven't used the phone yet," Loreen said and Edric turned silent.
She put her hand in her pocket and touched her phone. She was still using the one with the cracked screen and hadn't used the phone from Edric.
Now she regretted not using it sooner. If she did, she would have been able to read the messages Leo and the others sent.
She only used it for a bit when she was here last time to show Edric the proofs she needed and hadn't checked the unread messages.
When she went home last week, she just focused on searching for the files to prove Sera was the one who lied. She simply kept the phone in one of her cabinets.
"Let's talk about this later," Edric said with a dark look on his face.
He was suddenly in a bad mood even though he was so adorable and cuddly looking earlier.
