"What the hell?! I told you I was uncomfortable with it," she barked. "If I offended that man, Melissa's relationship with her husband might get implicated. He is a close friend of the groom. I didn't want to cause problems in someone else's wedding."
Fine. That was a good point. Edric couldn't debate it.
If Melissa's relationship was implicated, Loreen could be blamed for it. Maybe that was why Loreen decided to put up with all of it.
But still, why didn't Edric hear anything about it from her after he returned from the business trip?
If not for the images Sera sent to him, he wouldn't have even known Loreen had attended Melissa's wedding as a bridesmaid.
He would have continued believing it was just a sleepover.
Sure, that wasn't a lie, but she held back the entire truth. And yet, she kept saying she never lied to him.
