Chapter 64: Confined for a While
"Did I get more injuries than I thought? How long was I unconscious?" Edric inquired and wondered why Leo looked so worried and immediately called for the doctor.
Leo handed him a warm bottled water after hearing his raspy voice.
Edric was grateful since his throat honestly hurt.
Well, his whole body hurt. Likely, due to falling from the stairs. He could recall trying to grab the railing, but it seems he wasn't able to.
His head still had bandages on. Is that why he felt so weak that he knew he wouldn't have been able to stand and remain standing for even a minute.
"I'll just fetch the doctor," Leo ran out of the room without answering Edric's question.
Leo returned with the doctor in a few minutes with the doctor.
Edric was subjected to a lot of questions, checkups, and tests before he was finally able to speak with Leo again.
