He knew he wasn't in his right mind.
But Edric barely ever changed his mind once he decided on something.
If it was money that would make Loreen stay, then he would give it.
He was sure she at least had some feelings for him.
It had been three years after all. They had been sleeping together for three years, living in the same house, conversing with each other, sharing warm hugs and kisses.
She truly loved him, right?

That regardless of what Sera told him, that even in the case that Loreen indeed planned everything, she already fell for him.
That she must be hesitating and unwilling to part with him.
