Chapter 48: Chance Meeting with Her "Friends"
"Ah, Loreen's friend!" Edric finally recalled. This was the woman who was with Loreen at the bar three years ago.
"I'm glad you still remember me. I'm Sera Emery Cruz," she extended her hand for a handshake.
"Edric Harvey," Edric shook hands with her.
It was unexpected to suddenly encounter them here.
Edric could tell the first time he saw Sera that she was quite well-off compared to Loreen. He wondered if it was among the reasons why Loreen's behavior in the past was a bit weird.
When Edric first met Loreen, she had a strong sense of inferiority towards rich people. It was why she was so out of place in that bar.
Sure, the dress she wore back then was not as expensive as the others, but it suited her well, so she still looked pretty.
If she had confidently walked in and believed in herself regardless of her surroundings, she wouldn't have looked so out of place.
