Chapter 1 - Azazon City

"Azazon, an industrial city part of the Kalius Empire, at first glance, it may be very hard to perceive the 'industrial' part of the city, because it really doesn't look like one, and that's because of the huge buildings and the tall skyscrapers all around the city, making you say, 'Oh, wow, this place really looks like a paradise; it also looks very peaceful too. I sure hope there's no big factories making powerful weapons that can wipe out a city below us!' And would you look at that? There were really big factories making powerful weapons that could wipe out a city below us- zzzzzzzzz"

"Umm, hey lady, wake up.. sigh, hey Celine! There's a girl here who's drunk; could you please put her back in her room?" yelled the man in black slacks and tops after noticing the red-haired girl sitting next to the bar desk's sleeping on the desk in front of her.

"I'm sorry, I can't; I'm pretty busy right now," a woman quickly shouted back to him. "Alright. Hey! Alicia, can you put this girl back to her room?" the man suddenly said when he notices a girl in maid suit walking toward the table with cleaning tools beside her.

"Yessir! I can put her back, but I don't know where her room is," the girl in the maid suit said.

"I don't know her room either. Hey, Celine! What room does this red-haired girl reside in?" the man shouted once again. "There's too many red-haired girls residing in this goddamn hotel! Tell me her name!" the woman quickly yelled back.

"Erm, her name is Celesta-.."

"She's on 607!" the woman quickly answered.

"607? Anyway, thanks, Celine!" the man shouted. He then turned his head toward the girl in the maid suit who was carrying the red-haired girl who was sleeping and said, "Alicia, go use the staff elevator."

"Why? the normal elevators is fine.." the girl in maid suit asked.

"That's because only the staff elevator can go to the 6th floor. Oh, right, you don't know we got a 6th floor. I forget you just started working here this month; well, you can ask me about it later, but now just go bring her to her room."

"Okay..." the girl in the maid suit replied as she turned toward the direction of where the staff elevator was.

"And also, Alicia.. after putting her back to her room, quickly leave the floor, don't stay there for a long time.." the man said to the girl, making her very excited to know what's on this secret floor.

And when she finally reaches the 6th floor by using the staff elevator, she is in awe. The 6th floor was actually just the rooftop, but on the rooftop there was a large mansion standing in the middle.

The girl's curiosity grew more and more as she gradually walked toward the mansion, and when she finally reaches the entrance door of the mansion, she quickly opens it. She was astonished by what she saw inside.

The grandeur of the mansion's interior took her breath away. The beautiful chandeliers, exquisite artwork on the walls, and luxurious furnishings created a captivating atmosphere that she couldn't resist exploring further.

But in the middle of the mansion she saw a man in black sitting on a soft white couch and enjoying his cup of tea that was placed on the small golden table in front of him.

When he realized the girl in the maid suit had entered the mansion, he slowly turned his head toward the girl, grinned, and said, "I have been waiting for you for a long time now." with a serious tone on his voice.

"Huh!? me??" the girl in the maid suit immediately blurted out.

"No, not you! The girl you're carrying! Goddammit, you ruined the mood, little girl!" the man in black yelled before he started to scratch his head rapidly.

"Hmm, why is it so loud? What's happening?" the red-haired girl said as she gradually opened her eyes.

"Oh, you finally woke up," the girl in the maid suit said as she supported the red-haired girl to stand up straight.

"Why are you carrying me?" the red-haired girl asked to the girl in the maid suit.

"Well, you drank too much wine back at the bar, then you went unconscious after delivering that speech to the bartender, who just asked why you came here to Azazon, and then the bartender asked me to put you back in your room." she replied.

"Really? I went unconscious? Damn, and here I thought I could handle that much alcohol. Wait! What was that speech I gave?" the red-haired girl inquired hastily.

"Oh, just random nonsense about factories below the city of Azazon, nothing worth mentioning at all," the girl in the maid suit answered with a smile on her face.

"Yes.. just random nonsense. Tell anyone who hears what I said that it's just one of those things a drunk girl is going to say when that alcohol hits her head, okay?" the red-haired girl stated as she gripped the girl in the maid suit's shoulder.

"Yes ma'am!" she replied.

"Anyway, you can go back now. I can go back to my room by myself. Thanks for the help by the way." the red-haired girl said.

The girl then nodded and returned to where she came from, still admiring the exquisite artwork within the mansion's walls. The red-haired girl, on the other hand, turned her head toward the man in black, who still kept scratching his head nonstop until the red-haired girl suddenly asked him.

"Hey you! Why do you keep scratching your head nonstop? Are you okay? Do you need your medicines? I can get them for you, and also, why do you look very familiar?" she asked to the man.

"Of course I look very familiar; we've met before, idiot," the man answered before pointing his fingers at the girl and putting an end to his relentless head scratching. "Also, I'm not insane like you; I don't need medicines. Now come close to me; we got something to talk about." he hastily said.

"What are you talking about? We never met before; I don't remember you," the girl said.

The man subsequently let out a big sigh after hearing what she said. He then looked at the ceiling of the mansion and whispered to himself, "This idiot."

"Hey woman, did you really forget about me? The guy who gave you information through your whole assassin days? The guy who helped you in every assignment you got? The guy who informed you what happened to him?" the man asked to the girl.

"Yes"

"Ughhhh, this night is so bad! Fine fine! Let's start this all over again. I'm Jason Teneva, a professional information broker, and I can give you information in exchange for money. Blah blah blah, now tell me your name; don't tell me you don't know your name either," the man in black said to her.

"I'm Celesta Antrigal.. Oh, I remember you now! You're that weird 'professional' information broker who kept giving me bad intels!" she responded.

"Yes, i am that weird professional information broker, haha i'm glad you finally remember, i'm going to lost my mind if you even forget my name.. Anyway, come here; I actually got good intel for you this time, just like the last one, trust me."
