After finishing their greetings with Edric and Philip, the queens decided to switch places with the children so the kings could speak more freely.
Hana smiled broadly at her other friends. She waved her hand excitedly.
"Long time no see, Zane! How are you?" Hana's greeting was returned by the other with a smile.
Arion stared at the blue-haired boy in surprise, 'So this is Zane. He seems like a friendly and calm boy.'
"I'm fine, Hana. I hope the same goes for both of you." Zane replied kindly.
Hana giggled, "We're doing very well too!"
She turned to greet her only friend who hadn't made a sound, "Long time no see, Rose."
Rose nodded, "Thanks for the invite."
Hana smiled awkwardly, "Ah, thanks for coming too." She replied awkwardly when she saw Rose just nodding with a flat face.
It was like dealing with a female version of Eric. But this one wasn't as annoying as her brother.
Arion looked curiously at the little violet-black haired girl, 'So that child they said was hard to get along with. She seems to keep a lot of distance from them.'
According to Arion, the little girl was just introverted and preferred to be alone. He don't know if that's just her nature or because of her environment.
Hana cleared her throat before nudging Eric, "Brother, you should say hello too." She whispered to her brother.
Eric paused before sighing, "Good to see you again." He greeted briefly and nodded his head slightly.
Zane chuckled, "Me too. You guys haven't changed much."
Eric snorted in amusement, "Look at you." He replied sarcastically, but without any malice in his words.
Meanwhile, Zane just shrugged his shoulders and smiled, already used to his nature.
"So how does it feel to be a big sister?" Zane asked Hana, who was becoming a big sister for the first time.
Hana smiled brightly, "It's amazing! Arion is so cute!" She explained enthusiastically. She was almost babbling about how cute her little brother was.
Arion sighed tiredly. Looks like he had to put up with being called cute since he was a baby.
Zane smiled, "Looks like you're already a good big sister to Arion."
He had no doubt that Hana would make a good big sister. With her cheerful nature, it wouldn't be hard for her to be.
As for Eric, Zane didn't have to doubt him anymore. He had been a good big brother for a long time. Even though the twins were the same age, it was Eric who took care of his younger brother the most. He had set many good examples for Hana, even if he also teased her a lot.
Arion mused, 'I have to admit, even though they're often loud, they're good older siblings.'
The twins always treated him like a fragile object. Somehow, he felt that Arion was highly valued by both of them.
But he quickly dismissed the thought. Arion should have known that Eric and Hana were just doing their duty as big siblings, whether they wanted to or not. The twins definitely didn't want to get into trouble if they weren't doing a good job.
Arion felt that there was no way anyone would appreciate them. Because he himself was not that valuable. He let out a sad sigh and focused on their conversation again.
Eric nodded, "I agree with her. But honestly, babysitting Arion is a lot easier than raising her. What did you expect?"
He looked sarcastically at his sister, who looked away from him with a frown on her face.
"I'll take that as a compliment." Hana said curtly, making Eric snort in amusement.
Noam laughed and put his arm around Zane's shoulder, who smiled amusedly, "How about we relax at that table over there? It would be nice to have some cookies and tea. I'm kind of hungry."
Zane chuckled, "I don't mind."
Eric nodded in agreement. He also couldn't wait to eat his favorite food again after all this time. His and Hana's punishment was finally over.
Hana, who had the same thoughts as her brother, was also excited. But she paused for a moment before facing someone who had remained silent from the beginning.
"What about you, Rose?" Hana's question made the person in question jump slightly. She gave Hana a confused look, not really listening to their conversation.
Zane, noticing this, immediately chimed in, "The queens must want to chat a lot without our interruption. How about joining us?"
Rose blinked a few times, "Oh, I..." She hesitated to answer. But a tap on her head made her turn around.
Daisy looked at her daughter with a gentle smile, "Go on, dear. Spend time with your friends."
Rose was silent. When she saw her mother nod at her, she let out a resigned sigh, "Alright then."
Rose turned to face them and bowed slightly, "If you don't mind, I'll join you."
Hana smiled happily, "No problem at all!"
Without feeling awkward, Hana pulled Rose's hand to follow her. She didn't notice Rose's shocked expression before it returned to normal.
"Enjoy the party, kids!" Natalie said happily as she waved at them, hoping that this would further cement their friendship, especially for Rose.
"We will!"
Hana waved to her mother before continuing on her way, followed by the others.
The queens also decided to continue their conversation at the tables provided. Martha, Jane, and Daisy held their babies as they began to wake one by one.
Jane and Daisy looked at the white-haired baby with admiration. Even Jane stifled a squeal of delight, "He looks so much like you, Natalie. Like a mini version of you. So cute!"
Daisy nodded in agreement, "A mini version and a boy."
"Of course my little baby is so cute!" Natalie said proudly before kissing Arion's cheek.
When they saw Arion push his mother's cheek to stop kissing his cheek, they all squealed in delight.
"So cute!" Natalie squealed with delight before hugging Arion tighter.
Jane let out a long groan, "Ugh! It's only one baby. What if all four babies act cute together?"
Martha clutched her chest dramatically, "I have no regrets in my life."
Daisy grimaced at her behavior, "Don't talk like you're going to die."
Arion looked at her in confusion, 'What's wrong with them?'
Daisy shook her head gently before turning her attention to Natalie, "How are you, Natalie?"
She had been worried that Natalie would tire easily since she had just given birth a month ago. But looking at her energetic demeanor, it seemed that Daisy's worries were unnecessary.
Natalie smiled brightly, "Very good! I'm recovering fast!"
Jane snorted in amusement, "Of course she is. I'm not surprised anymore. You know how much energy she has, whether she's pregnant or not."
Jane was used to seeing Natalie act as if she had not just given birth. The same thing had happened after she gave birth to the twins, where the labor must have been more difficult because there were two babies.
Natalie chuckled in embarrassment, "You flatter me, Jane."
They laughed together before continuing their conversation. But they didn't want to overdo it, because there were definitely many pairs of eyes watching them.
That was why they preferred a more private place. It was no fun not to be free.
Arion looked at the four in turn, 'They look very close. It wouldn't be wrong to say that they are the reason why the relationship between the kingdoms has become closer.'
They look as if they've known each other for years. So do the kings.
Were they also brought close together when they were young, like the twins and their friends? Was that a tradition or something? Arion was curious.
Natalie looked at the other two babies besides Arion and Seth with sparkling eyes, "It feels like forever since I last saw Fiona and Kalyca. They're so big already."
Daisy chuckled as she let her baby take her finger, "You're over-dramatizing things. They're only a few months old."
Jane smiled as she played with her daughter's chubby cheeks, "I can't wait to see the four of them grow up."
Natalie immediately protested, "Wait a minute! I just got a taste of carrying Arion! Don't talk about growing up!" She exclaimed unhappily.
Even though taking care of a baby was exhausting, it didn't mean that she wanted Arion to grow up quickly. She wanted to enjoy this moment.
Martha snorted as she looked at Seth, who waved his little hand in her face, "You know, as much as I love their cuteness as babies, I'd rather they weren't disturbing my beautiful sleep every minute."
Natalie clucked her tongue, "You have no sense of emotion at all."
Daisy hummed, "I see what Martha means. It's exhausting, but it's one of the best memories from when they were babies. We won't get that back when they grow up."
Natalie looked at her friend with sparkling eyes, "Now that's a better answer."
Martha and Jane snorted in annoyance, but didn't argue with the statement. When the babies grew up, the parents would surely miss these moments.
Feeling the peaceful atmosphere between the four of them, Arion let out a relaxed sigh, 'A very harmonious atmosphere.'
