After getting Natalie and Martha's approval, the three little ones, along with their baby brother and the personal maid, immediately go to the palace garden.
Hana spread her arms wide. She breathed in the fresh air around her with relief. Her golden eyes sparkled with excitement.
"This is refreshing!" Hana exclaimed happily. Today's weather was not too hot, perfect for playing outside.
Nova followed the twins with Arion in her arms. Noam's nanny was next to her, holding Seth. They smiled at the enthusiastic behavior of the princess in front of them.
Seth was still sleeping soundly, which surprised Arion. Even though it had been very noisy, he didn't seem to be bothered at all. Probably because he was used to it in his own home.
Arion grimaced at the thought. If it were him, he would have gone crazy a long time ago.
Eric quietly enjoyed the atmosphere around him. Silently, he agreed with Hana's words. The quiet and refreshing atmosphere was perfect for relaxing.
But of course, someone doesn't let his peace last long.
Noam chuckled as he put his arm around Eric's shoulders, "Are you ready for the crowd tonight?" He asked in a teasing tone.
Of course, he knew that Eric hated crowds. He couldn't resist teasing him about it.
Eric snorted in annoyance at Noam's presence too close to him. Besides, his question both offended him and reminded him of tonight. He restrained himself from kicking the red creature beside him hard.
Arion, who had seen his older brother's expression from the beginning, could only grimace in pity, 'He really hates crowds, huh...'
It wasn't that he disagreed with him. Arion didn't like it either.
He couldn't help but feel a little guilty. After all, tonight's party was being held for him, even though he didn't want it. Besides, he hated crowds.
But it wasn't as if he could refuse. He couldn't even speak yet. He had tried before. And forcing his voice out only made his throat hurt.
When the three children arrived at the palace garden, there was already a special mat for them to sit on. As they sat down, Nova and the Noam's nanny stood near them.
Hana cleared her throat nervously, "Nova, can I carry Arion?"
Arion grimaced in horror, 'What?'
Hana's request was met with a frown from Nova. She was about to refuse but was stopped when Hana tugged at her skirt.
"Please?"
Nova was silent as she accepted Hana's sparkling, pleading eyes. She felt indecisive now, but still managed to steel herself.
At the sight of Nova shaking her head firmly, Hana added a sad pout to her lips, still not giving up on making Nova melt. Eric snorted at his twin sister's behavior.
After a few minutes of silence, Nova finally let out a resigned sigh and decided to comply with the little girl's request.
"Just for a little while and still under my supervision. You must not take the little prince running around. Just sit still." Nova warned sternly.
She silently promised not to take her eyes off Hana for a second. If possible, she wouldn't even blink.
Arion resisted the urge to let out a long groan. His luck was really bad today.
Immediately a bright smile appeared on Hana's lips, "I promise!"
Eric sighed wearily. Although Nova often saw Hana's sparkling eyes, it didn't mean that she was immune to it. Nova was like Natalie, sometimes immune, sometimes not.
Only Eric was the most immune to Hana's whining. Even Arsen is not immune. How could he not be immune when Hana whined to him every day, every hour, every minute. Eric was so used to it that he was sick of it.
As Nova knelt beside them, Eric patted Nova's arm lightly, "I'll keep an eye on them too, Nova."
Nova just smiled softly and nodded at Eric, trusting his words. After all, Eric was the one who was most used to watching Hana and her behavior.
"Don't you want to hold Arion as well?" Hana asked curiously. She thought her twin brother would want to hold their baby brother too.
Eric snorted, then shook his head gently, "Not now. I still remember my promise to Mom."
There was a hint of sarcasm in Eric's words that made Hana chuckle nervously. She cleared her throat and pretended not to hear her twin brother's words.
Noam, who had seen the twins' interaction from the beginning, soon followed them. He motioned for his nanny to come closer.
"Give Seth to me," Noam asked with an outstretched hand. The nanny looked doubtfully before she finally complied with her prince's request.
Unlike Nova, she didn't dare to disobey her prince in the slightest. After all, she was just an ordinary servant. So she could only surrender and obey everything her prince asked.
When Seth was finally placed in Noam's arms, his eyes began to tremble and a small whimper was heard. They all fell silent as they saw Seth begin to open his eyes and yawn widely.
Arion sighed, 'He's finally waking up.'
He was honestly starting to worry that something had happened to the baby from his lack of movement and reaction.
Eric glanced over for a moment before going back to watching Hana and Arion. Meanwhile, Hana stifled a squeal of delight at Seth's cute waking behavior. Good thing she remembered that Arion was still in her arms.
"It turns out that Seth's eyes are also inherited from Uncle Oscar, orange eyes," Hana commented admiringly.
Actually, she had known about it since the celebration of Seth's birth. But she had long forgotten about it as her memories were now filled with Arion. Her baby brother was still number one!
"That's the way it is. Mom always complained and said there wasn't a single look we inherited from her." Noam's words were met with a small laugh from Hana. Eric just snorted in amusement.
Noam chuckled as he remembered his mother's grumbling. Martha always protested to Oscar that his genes were always more abundant in Noam. And now Seth was the same way. Good thing he didn't go berserk.
Noam watched Arion closely, "Now that I look closely, Arion's hair is similar to Aunt Natalie's, but the ends are black. That's cool." He commented enthusiastically.
He really likes graded hair like that. He thinks it looks cool. He's been wanting to color the ends of his hair like that for a long time.
But his mother always forbids it, saying he's too young. Martha said that Noam could do it when he grew up. After that, he could only surrender, not daring to argue with his mother.
"His eyes look like Aunt Natalie's, too. Like rubies." He added admiringly. He liked anything red. Except blood of course.
He honestly wondered why baby Arion wasn't asleep yet. Unlike his baby brother who was a sleepyhead.
Hana smiled widely at the compliment, "Yes! They are beautiful!"
She never tired of looking into Arion's or Natalie's red eyes. She thought their red was different. It was prettier and shinier.
Hana loved it especially when her mother smiled or laughed. She couldn't wait to see Arion do the same in the future.
"Your golden eyes are no less beautiful." Noam's compliment made Hana giggle. But a gentle kick to his leg made Noam turn his head to find Eric staring at him intently.
"Stop it," Eric said sharply. If Noam had not been holding Seth, Eric would have kicked him harder.
Noam just chuckled and shrugged in surrender. He didn't want to risk dropping Seth if he challenged Eric to a fight now.
But that didn't stop Noam from taking on his rival.
"So?"
Eric looked at Noam reluctantly, "What?"
Noam grinned proudly, "Seth is the best baby brother in the world!" He said confidently. The look in his eyes seemed to challenge Eric to refute his statement.
Eric snorted lightly, "Are you kidding me? Arion is the best baby brother in the world!"
Hana nodded vigorously, "The best!"
Noam gasped in shock, "You're not defending me?" He asked dramatically as if he had just been cruelly betrayed.
Hana shook her hair pompously, "Why should I defend you? My baby brother is Arion, not you." She replied arrogantly.
She stuck her tongue out mockingly at Noam, who held his chest as if in pain as he held back his laughter.
"Traitor!"
Unbeknownst to them, the trio's interactions in the garden had been watched from afar by a pair of mothers. The servants could only resign themselves to the antics of their queen.
Natalie sighed wearily, "I knew it..."
She shouldn't have been surprised. What had she expected when the three children had gathered, plus their younger siblings? Competition, of course.
Next to her, Martha giggled, keeping herself from laughing too loudly. She rather liked the sight, "Another rivalry."
Natalie sighed resignedly, "Don't tell me the one in Arsen's office right now is also competing."
Martha covered her mouth with her hand to stifle the loud laughter that was about to erupt. She patted Natalie's shoulder sympathetically.
"I'm not surprised anymore."
What else could they do but compete? Especially with Oscar, whose ignorance could not be helped.
Martha could only pray for her husband's safety from Arsen's wrath. Although it was actually quite funny to watch.
