Ryder pulled away from him and looked at his face. "You aren't just a friend, you are a brother" he told him.
"That's true Evena. You are family now" Lavender added.
Ryder chuckled and ruffled Lavender's hair.
"Jayden is going to be so happy to see you. He was so scared you were going to die and he would have to become Alpha" Lavender said with a laugh. Ryder laughed as well as he pictured Jayden's terrified face.
"Where is he anyway? And where is Helena?" Ryder asked.
"They are in the kitchen with Lily" Lavender replied.
"Let's go meet them" Ryder said, he reached down and held Ava's hands. She slowly withdrew her hand.
"What is it Ava?" Ryder asked.
"Maybe you should go down alone. It might not be a good idea for them to see me" she replied.
Ryder reached down and held her hands even more firmly.
