| Chapter I - The First Reason Of The Purpose |
There's many people at this crane-system. They are working for a purpose of their lives but don't know what the purpose is.
They've been brought by the same person who holds the lives of everybody living here, working for them. I've been in this place for 20 years and I've seen many emotions. Such as other feeling the same as one, a desire to spread out for the knowledge, a heavy pressure onto someone making them do abnormal things.
But the purpose of being here can be anything, desire, affection, emotions, stress, or much more. But everyone was taught the same one thing. Work for them, listen to them, impress them. We are like puppets on a puppet show, and they are the puppeteer holding the string behind the scenes.
Many people want to live, many people want to try, many people want to succeed, many people want to die.The only reason why we here is all that list. And it's like a chess board and we are the pieces, trying to protect the queen and the king. We are nothing, just a mere ants.
I've put the No. 1 reason of the purpose into my brain rotten.
It's like vines clinging onto a wall.

The woman who saved millions of people the day, they are suffering is cruel. Anybody who was rescued by her wasn't taught about the world.Instead the only thing they know is how to make her proud, by killing who she commands.
Unsympathetic of hers cannot be shown among the victims, the manipulation she have done to us is like a scar that will crack open our back. Whenever that happens. It's very painful to bear. Just as the same as the day we were rescued.
There are even training of killing mechanical bots make everybody useful based on the commands.
And some of them are named by numbers. Not an actual name. Those who are named by an actual name are at high risks.
It goes same for me too.

I walked all the way down to the 1st floor, from the main quarter after completing my mission. There was blue syringes of dose in my right hand, I squeeze it tight in my hand.
I was sweating a lot because there was many metal bots. I don't know why but us people from the Lee com can get very tiring if they work too much, if they don't use the syringe of dose they get after killing those metal bots. They'll pass out and be in an ill for a period of time.
I open the constellation system,
I injected the dose around my neck, it kinda felt like minty and hot but sweet after a while. It's like eating mint candies.

I quickly goes into the messaging menu and saw a message from Lingliu.
It's a kid from Jinx Class [1] I thought.
But the EOF [2] event is ending which is a sign that next event is coming. I sighed as I realize that next event is really going to be a deal, and I don't think most of the participates would survive, despite them having to work hard for 24/7. Especially Jinxs and young Hails [3]. For us, who conquered many metal beings have low risks dying.
I was lost in my deep spreading mind, heading to main quarter the whole time. But something doesn't feel right. I felt like I was going through a loop. The timer from the lobby stays not unflinching.
I didn't notice the fabric of time. It makes sense because I was texting Jung Ho, the worker from the main quarter counter. We made video calls through the system. We laughed and gossiped about the rumors that is going around the Lee company.
"I have to walk a lot more to get to the main quarter Sighs"
[Don't give up, Soo-ssi. There's an agency which will arrive just in time you get to main quarter]
Jung Ho cheered me up with a shining smile through the constellation system while . . . I was having a rat face.
It is far to arrive to main quarter from where I finished my work. The Lee com had a crazy 10 floors in total, including the crane-underground-system.
I go down and down from the 9th floor to main quarter which located in the 1st floor. In fact, coincidentally the transportation system has failed and I was stuck in the bus for literal 5 minutes. As I said, the transportation system crashes down so the cooler didn't work and it felt like I was in a living hell with that 30 degrees heat, melting my whole life.
I go down to 4th floor, finally!! 3 more floors to go. I ran and ran, the video call with Jung Ho didn't hung up. She was doing her job while I ran to get to main quarter.
Out of sudden my left earphone crashed,
"Huh? Jung Ho! Can you check the settings? My left earphone crashed down"
[H-huh? There's nothing wrong in the settings, would you try again?]
I tried again, tap on the earphone again and again. And finally it have opened, I was relieved.
So do the speakers from every hall.
"Huh? What's happening?" I spoke in confusion as I didn't know what was going on.
[Can't access to the internet, please try again]

The speakers in the halls spoke the sentence again and again. Jung Ho didn't understand the situation either.
[Soo-ssi, what's happening at your side]
Jung Ho asked in confusion so do I.
"I- I don't know either! The speaker are just lagging?"

Boom!! Boom!!
The speakers exploded one by one. Making a huge exploding sound. I looked out the clear window to see others speakers exploding from across too.
"Uh- I'm confused . . . Jung Ho can you report it to Eonni Han?"
Jung Ho gets into reporting to the system. There was nothing wrong too either. Suddenly. . .
[Kyah!!! What's happening to you!?] Jung Ho screamed with horror on her face as she looks at me with confusion. The screen, I looked at myself at the constellation system's reflection through the screen.
An error running around my eye. My left eye was completely gone with a piece of error slowly deleting it.
I was on the 2nd floor currently at the time. So I ran my energy out to get to main quarter as fast as I can.
"Be quick!! Jung Ho, report this to Eonni Han right now!!"
[I'm trying!!] Jung Ho's eyes welled up with tears, typing the change set her best. Her fingers moving quickly as she type-change-set,
I did try to change-set the settings system too. But the error is eating me whole, My left hand was the only hand, which was typing, because I was holding the syringes in my right hand. I didn't want to let go out it. But it was too late.
"Huh . . .?"
The error has deleted my left arm too. It didn't hurt or either bleed. I looked at my left arm with empathy. My eyes have welled up with tears too.
A person, a girl showed up on my screen. Jung Ho and I's video call ended.
[Soo-In . . .] The girl spoke while looking down. She had white hair and was wearing a black dress. I thought I got into a website,
[Soo-ssi . . . We'll be together forever from now on] And the screen shut black. The main lobby is lagging like crazy. And so did I heard [Run . . .]
I ran and cried like a crybaby. To the Lab B14, around the green house, there was an alley ahead of the green house. Just as I pass, my right leg have been deleted off.
So did I fall flat on my face. While looking at my right leg which was not there anymore. I cry and cry. After a while, I heard footsteps from the alley heading to me. I felt the real pain right there.
"AHHHHHH!!!! It hurts!!!!! Someone save me!! Please . . ."
I screamed when the pain hits. The syringes broke into pieces of glass. I didn't notice when a little girl crouches down in front of me.
I look up with my faint tired eyes. She had white hair with a black dress.
"You're . . ." I didn't have enough energy anymore, I tried my best to pull on. But those crybaby tears hits back in again. I looked like a corpse lying on the floor, yes I did. Without anyone to help me.
"Don't worry, this won't take long" She spoke. I only heard faint lines in my ears. I wanted to ask more, I wanted to say more, I . . . wanted to question more.
The pain didn't end there. The girl slowly peals the side of my body, and her trying to get in. It's the moment I knew she wasn't a normal being.
"Kyahhhh!!!!! It's hurt, the damn are you doing!!! . . ."
After a noisy moment, the silence took over. I've passed out.
