Kitanna couldn't sleep the previous night; she rolled on the bed all night, feeling the touch of Nix on her bare skin. It was as if it ignited something inside her body; the thought of it made her stomach knot, and she felt heat forming between her legs.
Not waiting for the day to finally break, Kitanna dressed up to meet Larel and talk to her about the new emotions she was now feeling. On her way to the room, she bumped into someone. The person didn't stop walking, as if she had not seen her. For some reason, Kitanna felt she had experienced this before, and the back of the person seemed somewhat familiar.
"Hey... You there, stop!" Kitanna called after the person, but they didn't stop. She turned and ran after the person. She got to the pillar where she saw the person turn, but there was nobody there.
