After Kitanna was done getting information from the lady captured, she cleaned her blood-stained hands as she stepped out of the dungeon. Her mind went back to the last person she had tortured, and she tried to remember the name.
"Catalina? Calyna? Calissa?" Kitanna muttered under her breath, and for some reason, it felt as if she had seen the young woman's face recently, but she knew the girl was no more after she had been swapped in place of Axilla, receiving the bright flower's death sentence.
"Your Majesty," a maid bowed deeply as soon as Kitanna stepped inside the main palace.
Kitanna nodded, "Where is the King?" She asked, looking around to see if she would catch a glimpse of her beloved husband. It felt surreal that he was back, and she wouldn't want it to be a dream.
The maid raised her face slightly, "He is talking with Lord Hieron; I can take you there."
