Kitanna's subconscious took her to a dreamland. There she was young, scared, and all alone, locked up in a dark room. She tried to use her strength to escape, but every time a force pushed her back to a corner. As she continued with this, she cried and prayed that someone would come along and save her. On the verge of giving up, a bright light, akin to an angel halo, emitted from the other end of the room, almost blinding her. When she squinted her eyes to get accustomed to the light, she saw a young boy a few years older than her, with peculiar silver hair and blue eyes, standing close to the door.
Kitanna got up from the dark corner, walking towards the strange-looking boy. As she got closer, her younger self grew up, and the young boy in front of her did the same, turning into Nix.
"You are never alone," Nix whispered to her in the dream, taking her hands; they both made their way out of the dark room.
