Kitanna heard the door lock shut, her heart dropped. She had expected Nix to return the kiss, but instead he left immediately she said goodnight. Maybe the feeling was just her and he only saw her as a nuisance and nothing more.
Kitanna turned her back, and she saw Nix advancing towards her. She widened her eyes in surprise, she heard the door open and close and she had assumed he left.
Nix on getting close to the princess, dropped his sword on the floor and pulled her to himself. His hands snuggly holding her waist, Nix crashed his lips on her supple ones. The kiss was far from being gentle, it was mix of emotions that have been bottled for a long time.
Nix sucked on her lower lips, tasting the flavour he had only experienced when she dropped the gentle kiss.
