Due to the similarities to LOTM, I have decided to stop updating this webnovel.

However, I couldn't leave some things unexplained, so here we go:

Jester Lefty (and many others) are, in fact, Lucian Wright himself. He endured tens of thousands of scenarios, each ending with someone's death. Selene managed to pull his soul—and his soul only—back to the past and placed it inside the Lucian we all know.

As for Elizabeth, her death was planned at the very end of Volume 1. In Volume 2, Lucian would work more independently towards finding Lilith and getting revenge, unaware that Lilith had conducted a ritual (planned with Lucian 2—Jester) to possess Elizabeth and become an ally of Jester and Selene.

There were many more things planned, but I can't continue writing this.
