Kiato chapter 51
Shikaku raised an eyebrow in surprise. "You forgot Master Jiraya, your father's sensei. He is also a sage."
Kaito shrugged nonchalantly. "I said truly mastered. Jiraya-sama is an imperfect sage and still needs the assistance of the two sages of Mount Myoboku to enter sage mode, according to my father." of course minato handt told kaito that but he could help but add the information so they wont ask him how he would know such information.
Shikaku nodded in understanding and they continued their journey back home.
…..
The village hidden in the leaf was bathed in the warm glow of afternoon sunlight. The trees rustled gently, their leaves whispering secrets to one another. It was early December in Konoha and a blanket of snow covered the village. Team 11 is just returning from a successful c-rank mission and were making their way back to the village.
As they entered through the gates, Kaito let out a long sigh and said, "Ah, it's good to be back in the village." Shikaku, the team leader, checked them back in "We're done for today," before walking away to attend to other duties. he called over his shoulder, "you guys are free for tomorrow to rest and relax."
Kaito turned to his teammates, Itachi and Hotaru, and asked if they were hungry. "How about we grab something to eat?" he suggested with a grin. "I don't know about you two, but I'm starving. ya know" He stretched his arms behind his head, feeling content after a successful mission.
Itachi nodded in agreement, adding "Sounds good to me. I'm pretty hungry too." Hotaru chimed in as well, saying "I'm starving as well! Let's go get some food!"
Agreeing to indulge in some ramen, they made their way to the famous Ichiraku Ramen
stand. As they entered the small shop,
Kaito was greeted with a warm smile from Tuechi, the skilled ramen chef. "Hey there, Tuechi-san!" Kaito exclaimed as he took his seat at the counter.
Hotaru and Itachi settled on either side of him and placed their orders. Tuechi greeted Kaito back and asked if he wanted his usual bowl of miso miso ramen with extra char siu. "Kaito-kun! The usual, then?"
"Hai, I'll have the usual," Kaito nodded and added, "and a side of gyoza please."
"Alright, coming right up," Tuechi replied with a grin before turning to Kaito's friends. "And what can I get for you two?" Hotaru requested a rich miso tonkotsu ramen while Itachi preferred a classic shoyu ramen.
As Tuechi prepared their orders, Kaito couldn't help but think of his mother Kushina, who was also a ramen addict like Naruto's canon. She had instilled in him a love for ramen, often dragging him to eat at least once a week after not having it for over a year.
After they finished eating at the small ramen stall, Kaito said goodbye to Tuechi and left. He looked back at his teammates before both he and Hotaru took their leave from Itachi and went their separate ways.
"See you, Itachi," Kaito called out as they parted ways. As usual, Kaito walked Hotaru back to the Hyuga compound. When they arrived, he bid her farewell and turned to make his way back to his own home. After a few minutes of walking, Kaito finally reached his house.
As Kaito pushed open the door to his home, he could already hear the sounds of chaos and laughter coming from inside. "Mom, I'm back!" he called out, stepping inside and closing the door behind him.
He was immediately greeted by the sight of his two-year-old brother, Naruto, running around the living room with Kushina, chasing after him with a towel in hand. "Come here, naru-chan!" Kushina called out with a smile.
Naruto giggled and squealed as his mother caught him and wrapped him up in the towel. His wild blonde hair sticking out in all directions.
Kushina looked up at Kaito as he approached them and greeted him with a warm smile. "Welcome back, honey! How was the mission?" she asked,
"Mission went well," Kaito replied with a grin. "You know, the usual." He took off his sandals and joined his family.
Naruto's eyes widened in excitement as he caught sight of his beloved big brother Kaito. "Big brother!" he exclaimed, running towards him with open arms.
kaito warmly embraced his mother and younger brother, who eagerly returned the hug.
As Naruto looked up at his older brother, a hopeful glint in his eyes, he asked, "Play with me? Please, big brother?"
Kaito couldn't resist Naruto's pleading gaze and agreed, "Of course! What game do you want to play?"
Naruto pondered for a moment before suggesting, "Let's play hide and seek!"
Kaito let out a hearty laugh. "Hide and seek it is!"
Their mother Kushina watched them with a smile, her heart swelling with love as she saw the strong bond between her two sons.
Just then, there was a knock on their door. Kaito turned towards the sound while Kushina said she would answer it. "I'll get that. Keep playing, you two!" As she left to attend to the visitor, Kaito continued playing with Naruto.
Kushina opened the door to find an ANBU standing there, their eyes hidden behind a mask. The ANBU wasted no time in delivering their message, speaking in a deep and formal tone. "Lady Kushina, you and Kaito Uzumaki have been summoned by the Hokage." With a nod, they body flickered away, disappearing into thin air.
Kaito came over to his mother's side, curious about who had visited them. "Who was it, Mom?" he asked with genuine interest.
Kushina turned to him, her expression serious. "An ANBU. We've been summoned to the Hokage's office."
Kaito's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Did they say why?"
Shaking her head, Kushina sighed softly. "No, they didn't. We'll find out when we get there. But we shouldn't keep the Hokage waiting."
She gently picked up Naruto from his spot on the floor and held him close. "Naru-chan, we have to visit the Hokage for a bit. Be good, okay?" Naruto nodded eagerly, sensing that something important was happening.
After locking up the house, Kushina and Kaito began their journey towards the Hokage tower. The usually short walk took longer than expected due to Kushina's injury, which prevented her from using chakra to speed up their travel. Finally, they arrived at the the hokage building.
As they entered the bustling lobby, the Hokage's secretary greeted them with a warm smile. "Lady Kushina, Kaito Uzumaki, the Hokage is waiting for you in his office," she informed them.
the secretary knocked on the door and was promptly ushered inside. She closed the door behind them as they entered the spacious office. Kaito immediately noticed his sensei Shikaku Nara standing beside the Hokage's desk, his expression serious and focused.
Bowing respectfully, Kaito greeted both his Hokage and sensei. "Hokage-sama, Shikaku-sensei," he said with a slight nod.
Kushina followed suit and also bowed, a bright grin on her face. The Hokage chuckled at her enthusiasm and asked, "Ah, Kushina, it's been a while since we last met. How have you been?" His eyes then shifted to the 2 year old in her arms. "Oh my, is that little Naruto-kun?"
Kushina beamed with pride as she replied, "We've been doing well, Hokage-sama. And yes, this is Naru-chan." She gently bounced the two-year-old in her arms who cooed happily in response.
Kushina asked Naruto to greet his leader. The young boy's bright smile and enthusiastic "hi".
"hello to you to naruto kun, He's growing up fast. Well, please, have a seat. There's something important I need to discuss with both of you." The Hokage chukeled and greeted him back,he then motioned for them take a seat. As they settled in, he turned to Kaito with a serious expression.
"Ahh, Kaito-kun, do you know why I've called you here?" the Hokage asked.
Kaito shook his head, feeling a bit nervous at the sudden change in tone. "No, why?" he replied.
The Hokage then turned to his advisor, Shikaku, who let out a quiet sigh and muttered "troublesome." He then addressed Kaito again, asking "Do you remember what happened in our first c-rank mission?"
Kaito nodded, still unsure of where this conversation was headed.
Shikaku leaned forward and asked "What happened in fight between you and the Cloud shinobi during that mission?"
Kaito's mind raced as he recalled the recent battle with yugito nii. he had wanted to defeating her as quickly as possible and seeing her starting to use biju chakra. he had made a decision us the Gogyō Fūin on her.
He turned to Shikaku and the Hokage, and told them. "I fought and defeated her as quickly as possible. And then, I placed a seal on her to prevent her from using her biju chakra."
Shikaku nodded in understanding,"Do you realize what kind of problem that could have caused for the village?"
kushina hearing this said to hiruzen "He didn't do it on purpose, Hokage-sama."
kaito nodded and said "I understand the potential consequences, but it was the fastest way to subdue her and stop the fighting. I didn't mean to cause any trouble."
Hokage's expression turned grave as he addressed Kaito. "Do you realize the gravity of your actions? Sealing a foreign shinobi's chakra, especially that of a jinchuriki, can have severe diplomatic repercussions. We must be careful and deliberate in our actions, even in the heat of battle. The consequences extend far beyond this one encounter."
Shikaku let out a deep sigh, his brow furrowed in frustration. "Why didn't you inform me about the seal you placed on the jinchuriki of Kumogakure?" he asked Kaito.
Kaito's expression turned apologetic as he explained, "Everything happened so quickly. I was focused on healing my teammate Hotaru's injuries, and it slipped my mind afterwards."
Kushina's worry for her son was evident as she turned to the Hokage and asked, "Hokage-sama, there isn't any problem with the seal, right? It was just an accident?" Her concern was palpable in her voice.
The Hokage showed them a scroll. "This came in just a few hours ago from the Hidden Cloud," he announced,
"They have asked for a peace treaty," the Hokage continued, "and one of their stipulations is that Konoha removes the seal placed on their jinchuriki."
Kushina let out a sigh of relief, her tension visibly melting away. Kaito's mind was racing, considering the implications of this development.
The Hokage's voice cut through the quiet once more. "That is the reason for calling you here," he explained, looking directly at Kaito. "We want to know what kind of seal you used, Kaito-kun."
Snapping out of his thoughts, Kaito replied confidently, "i used the Gogyō Fūin( Five Element Seal.)"
The Hokage's brows raised in surprise. "The Gogyō Fūin? That's quite advanced," he remarked.
Kushina beamed with pride and affection for her son. She playfully ruffled his hair and chimed in, "Kaito-kun is a genius when it comes to seals, just like his father."
After bidding farewell to the hokage and his sensei, Kaito and his mother began their journey back to their house.
Kaito's mind was lost in deep thought, causing him to answer his mother absentmindedly. His thoughts raced as he tried to remember the event that had just taken place.
"I don't remember Kumo ever having a peace treaty with Konoha," he mused in his mind, "I can only recall Suna having a treaty with Konoha." He furrowed his brow in confusion, trying to piece together what had happened. "Did me placing a seal on Yugito change the timeline?" he wondered, his mind swirling with questions and possibilities.
