Three years had passed in what felt like the blink of an eye. Time had a way of slipping through their fingers, but they had made every moment count.
Ryan, Rachel, Hermione, and Yue had graduated from Hogwarts in the second year, effortlessly achieving top scores in their N.E.W.T.s. Their mastery over magic had long surpassed what the school could offer, allowing them to breeze through the curriculum. Luna, ever the free spirit, had chosen to stay an extra year to complete her studies, finally graduating with the same whimsical grace that had always defined her.
They had done it. Everything they had set out to achieve in the Harry Potter world was now complete. From uncovering hidden secrets to mastering magic beyond what most wizards could dream of, their journey had been one of growth, discovery, and triumph.
Ryan had fulfilled his goal of experiencing one of his favorite fantasy worlds and becoming a wizard.
"Now then, it's time to decide where to go next," I said as we sat in the dining room of the townhouse.
Our options were vast—One Piece, Arifureta, Fate, DC, Harry Potter, Doulou Dalu, and Danmachi.
Fate was incredibly dangerous, even for me. Off the top of my head, I could list several weapons that could kill me—Harpe, the Immortal-Slaying Scythe; Gae Bolg, the cursed spear; Black Keys…
DC was even more absurd, with beings possessing multiversal levels of power. I was fairly certain my immortality had limits, and there were plenty of things there that could kill me. Trigon, in particular, was a universal or even multiversal threat. Considering I had snatched his daughter… yeah, not a great idea.
One Piece had its appeal, but mostly for the Devil Fruits. I'd return once I had a proper crew or at least the beginnings of one.
Harry Potter? Complete.
Arifureta and Danmachi were both classic dungeon fantasy worlds with leveling systems and their fair share of annoying gods.
Doulou Dalu offered cultivation and, of course, more annoying gods. However, I had already removed the biggest obstacle in my path.
Another option was venturing into an entirely new world, though that came with a minor setback—Hermione and Luna wouldn't receive an automatic identity, nor could they adjust their ages like my peerage members.
Still, I had managed to secure a life link for them. They wouldn't age past twenty-five, and if they died, I could revive them just like my peerage members.
For now, the choices had narrowed to Doulou Dalu and Danmachi, as Yue had no desire to return to her world.
"I'm fine with Doulou Dalu," Hermione said. "Didn't you want to get a peerage member from there? Plus, I'm still working on mastering certain magical disciplines, so some downtime would be useful."
"I would love to see some spirit beasts!" Luna added with a bright smile. She had always been fascinated by magical creatures of any kind.
"I'm fine with whatever," Rachel said, uninterested in the specifics. As long as we weren't going to her world, she had no complaints.
The others didn't care much either—they were just excited for a new adventure.
"Okay then. Winky!" I called.
With a soft pop, my loyal house-elf appeared.
"Master be calling Winky?" she asked eagerly. Winky had her own status plate, not for combat, but for the bond it provided and the protection it ensured.
"Start packing up. We're heading to a new world soon. Also, make sure the manor is ready for us to live in."
I had given Winky access to my inner world, ensuring she could prepare everything in advance.
I adjusted the time dilation back to 1:1. Ah Yin was now around 350,000 years old and could transform into a human if she wished, but I preferred for her to keep cultivating. Her unique domain accelerated the growth of plants around her, making her the perfect caretaker for my collection of immortal herbs. She was quite the devoted little grass.
"Yes, Master!" Winky chirped before popping away to get to work.
"I'm going in as a six-year-old and will be attending the Primary Spirit Academy. Who wants to come?"
Serenity was the first to respond, eyes shining with anticipation. She had refrained from attending school previously due to her uncontrollable poison body, but now that she had full control, she was eager to experience it properly—with me by her side.
Yue would, of course, go wherever I went.
Rachel thought about it for a moment before shaking her head. "I'll stay with Hermione and Luna. I don't really feel like dealing with a bunch of kids or nobles. Besides, you'll still see us in the inner world, right? Also, I think I'd be more useful as an adult."
Hermione and Luna glanced at me for confirmation, and I nodded. "Of course."
Rachel preferred meditation and self-study. With all of Yu Xiaogang's knowledge at our disposal, there wasn't much the academy could offer her that she couldn't learn on her own.
"Oui, I'll stay as I am," Fleur purred, pressing a lingering kiss to my neck. "Once you finish classes, you can come home, and I'll spoil you."
She had been working on refining her enchanting skills despite already earning her mastery. Besides, she suspected her natural allure might cause unnecessary trouble among nobles and spirit masters in the Doulou Dalu world. Of course, it had absolutely nothing to do with wanting to cuddle me in my child form. Absolutely nothing.
So, it would be me, Serenity, and Yue attending the academy.
"Alright, we'll head out once Winky is done," I said.
It wasn't as if we were leaving this world forever. This was still our home, and there were plenty of reasons to return—whether it be acquiring new books, stocking up on ingredients, or simply enjoying the modern conveniences of the wizarding world.
Before long, Winky had finished preparations. Hermione and Luna entered the inner world with her, as they couldn't travel between worlds the way my peerage could.
With the final adjustments made to Yue and Serenity, I activated the travel function.
Time for the next adventure.
