Chapter 105 - 105. Truth.

Luna sat cross-legged on the couch, her usual dreamy expression fixed on me as I took a deep breath, trying to collect my thoughts. Yue, Rachel, and Serenity were nearby, listening but allowing me to take the lead. This conversation had been a long time coming.

"Luna, we need to talk," I began, watching as she tilted her head slightly, a small smile tugging at her lips.

"Oh? Are you finally ready to surrender to my charms?" she teased, her bright blue eyes twinkling with mischief.

I sighed, shaking my head. "Luna, I care about you, and that's why I need to explain something. You see me as another student at Hogwarts, but the truth is... I'm not exactly what I seem."

Her expression didn't change, but I could tell she was listening intently. "Go on," she encouraged, folding her hands in her lap.

"I'm mentally older than I look," I said. "Much older. I can change my physical age at will, and my real memories and experiences don't match my appearance. I may look like a kid, but I've lived through things far beyond this world."

Luna didn't seem surprised, just thoughtful. "So, you're not really 14. Or rather, you are physically, but not mentally?"

"Exactly," I nodded. "And that's not all. I'm not originally from this world. Neither are Yue, Rachel, or Serenity. The only one who is truly from this world is Fleur."

For a moment, Luna was silent, then she giggled. "Well, that explains a lot. I always knew you were different. You don't move like other wizards, and your eyes… they always seem to carry something older, something wiser."

I raised an eyebrow. "And you're not freaked out?"

She shrugged. "Why would I be? I told you before, I see the world as it is, not just as people tell me it should be. And besides, it makes sense. No normal boy could handle this many wonderful girls fawning over him."

Yue smirked. "She has a point."

Rachel rolled her eyes but said nothing, while Serenity just offered her usual serene smile.

I exhaled, some of the tension leaving my body. "I'm glad you understand. But Luna, that also means… you might need to rethink some of your advances."

She pouted playfully. "Are you saying you don't like me?"

"Not at all," I reassured her. "I care about you. A lot. But I want you to understand the full picture before making any choices. I'm not just some boy you have a crush on at school. My life is... complicated. Dangerous, even."

Luna tapped a finger to her chin. "So what you're saying is, if I want to stay with you, I need to understand what I'm getting into?"

I nodded. "Exactly."

She smiled, that dreamy, knowing look never leaving her face. "Then I guess I'll just have to learn everything about you, won't I?"

Over the next month, Luna learned almost all of Ryan's secrets. She listened with rapt attention as he explained his true nature—how he was far older than he appeared, how he could shift between his adult and child forms at will, and how he wasn't originally from this world. She learned that, aside from Fleur, none of the other girls who lived with him were from this world either. Most would have been overwhelmed by such revelations, but Luna was Luna.

She accepted everything in stride, nodding along as if he were telling her a simple bedtime story rather than unraveling the mysteries of his existence. There was no fear, no hesitation—only curiosity and deep affection. She asked insightful questions, her mind working through the implications of his abilities and origins with an ease that surprised even Ryan.

"So, you could be an old man right now if you wanted?" she asked one afternoon, perched on his lap as they sat in the study.

Ryan sighed. "Technically, yes. But I'd rather not. I was never an old man to begin with and even then I don't think my body can go past 25 years old."

Luna beamed. "Good! I love all of your bodies, but I'd rather not fall in love with a wrinkly version of you. That might take some time to adjust to."

He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Fair enough."

To Ryan's mild exasperation—and the amusement of the others—Luna's feelings never wavered. If anything, she only grew more determined. She still planned to seduce him, openly declaring her intentions with a cheerful, unshakable confidence that left Yue cackling in delight.

Rachel, ever the observer, watched the dynamic unfold with mild amusement. "You do realize," she said one evening, "that Luna never backs down once she's made up her mind?"

Ryan sighed, rubbing his temples. "I've noticed."

"And we wouldn't have her any other way," Yue added, smirking as she sipped her tea.

Despite the many revelations, their home remained as lively as ever. Luna fit in seamlessly, as if she had always been a part of their unusual little family. She was already planning out the rest of the summer, her mind brimming with schemes that, as she put it, would "prove the inevitable."

Ryan had no doubt that, sooner or later, she would succeed.

At this point the next house mate had finally arrived. Fleur appeared at their door with all her belongings and the new house trunk she got the previous Christmas from Ryan as it was kind of his signature gift. He felt that everyone should have a nice house trunk and had gone ahead and purchased a out 20 of them for future peerage members and girlfriends.

It was smart to be prepared for the future after all. Winky was all the more happy to help Misstress Fleur move in to her new room. Winky had a room in the basement which she liked as she refused to sleep anywhere else. Of course we gave her things like furniture and such to sleep on and made it look like a real room for her.

We loved Winky after all and wouldn't mistreat her.
