The voice was somewhat muffled, and he thought it was in Ainu language, so he did not understand it.

Those exposed stone figures, whether walking, standing, or sitting, all maintained the peaceful postures of daily life.
Such a scene inevitably made one wonder if the Koropokkuru who once lived in this settlement had suffered some unknown disaster and had been petrified in an instant, leaving behind the sight before him.
After he finished speaking, the old crone statue made another sound.
This time, however, it wasn't in Ainu language.
Though the tone and accent were strange, Kamiyagawa could barely understand it.
