Clusters of fire could be seen dancing in the darkness, casting a crimson glow into the waters of the lake.
Numerous exorcists donning Nuo masks were bustling around the fires.
Kamiyagawa Kazu's current position was on the opposite shore of the Nuo Array, accompanied by Onizuka Tokotsume and some other official exorcists.
"It's not raining tonight... but we are quite close to the water," he said.
"It's fitting that I'm assigned to guard outside the Shakuji-Ike Oasis. According to Satoru's Future Sight, the Breeder and the Plague Deity will rush toward the Nuo Array before... It's still unclear where the Breeder will strike between the haunted house and the Nuo Array; if I'm too far from the Array, I might miss them."
