The surrounding area was lush with mountain forests.
Beneath a less steep hillside to the right, there seemed to be an abandoned car hidden in the bushes, covered in rust.
In front, there was an old, moss-covered tunnel, its surface mottled and deteriorating.
This was the old Inunaki Tunnel.
The entrance was blocked by piled-up concrete chunks, making it inaccessible. On the wall built from these concrete blocks, one could see some old graffiti spray paint.
Most of it was left by young people who had come here to explore in the past.
The colorful old graffiti looked lifeless, and the strange overlapping combinations of colors only heightened the eerie atmosphere.
"Does it seem colder here?" Kamiyagawa pulled her coat tighter around herself.
It was almost 2 pm, which should have been the warmest time of the day, but standing at the entrance to the abandoned tunnel, one could only feel an unseasonably cold chill.
Moreover, she wasn't sure if it was an illusion.
