"By the way, Ishino. That Kamiyagawa student, he's handsome, right?" The two sat silently by the cherry blossom forest for a while before the short-cropped guy couldn't hold back and spoke up.
"Yeah."
"So, is he your type... uh, I mean, the type you like?"
"Pfft." Ishino Sayuri laughed, "What girl doesn't like a good-looking guy? Besides, what happened yesterday... If what happened yesterday had happened before our test of courage, I probably would've fallen for Kamiyagawa uncontrollably."
"Before the test of courage? Why do you say that?" Nagatomo Masao's face turned red.
"Yeah, why do I say that?" Ishino Sayuri didn't answer directly, merely repeating the question softly.
These two, they probably both knew the answer already.
"Ishino, I'm sorry. I should've been by your side yesterday."
"It wasn't your fault."
"I will protect you in the future."
"Yeah, okay."
The two chatted on and off.
