Ursula's POV
I lay on my bed, my thoughts swirling with uncertainty and longing. My sister, Onika, stood before me, her expression filled with concern.
"Ursula," she called out softly, breaking through my reverie.
I turned to face her, my heart heavy with unspoken emotions. "What is it, Onika?" I asked, trying to mask the turmoil within me.
She hesitated for a moment before speaking, her words laced with worry. "I'm worried about you, Ursula. You seem distant lately, and I can't help but wonder if something's bothering you."
I forced a smile, attempting to brush off her concerns. "It's nothing, Onika. Just some things on my mind, that's all."
But even as I spoke the words, I knew they rang hollow. The truth was, my heart was in turmoil, torn between the love I harbored for Alpha Killian and the fear of rejection that gnawed at me from within.
