Elena's POV
"I have to go back to Darius, I miss Justin," I said to Killian, who stood at the door, pain in his eyes. "I'm sorry Killian."
"You don't have to be, Elena. I know you miss Justin so much and you have to be with him," Killian said approaching me.
I nodded, gratitude flooding through me for Killian's understanding. "Thank you, Killian. You've been a good friend to me, and I'll always appreciate that."
He offered me a small smile, though sadness lingered in his gaze. "You'll always have a place here, Elena. Don't ever forget that."
Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I embraced Killian, grateful for his friendship and support. "I won't forget, Killian. Thank you for everything."
As we parted, I made my way out of the Packhouse the weight of my decision heavy on my heart. Despite the excitement of reuniting with Justin and Darius, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at leaving behind the life I had built with Killian.
