Sophia's POV
"Sophia," a voice called from behind, and I spun around to find Auntie Catherine waving at me. "Naomi, I'm over here," she said.
My heart raced as I saw her, disbelief washing over me. I hugged her, feeling a mix of excitement and confusion. "Auntie Catherine, I have missed you so much," I exclaimed.
Trying to keep the situation quiet, she motioned for me to be quiet. We moved away, and I suggested going inside the Packhouse, but she hesitated. "Long story. I have been rejected by all of them. My son doesn't even talk to me again. I have lost my son because of Serena," she confessed, tears rolling down her eyes.
Disbelief and concern crept into my thoughts. "Auntie, don't cry," I said, embracing her. She proposed going to the woods for our discussion, and I agreed.
In the woods, she painted a picture of betrayal, claiming Grandma Serena manipulated Darius. "What are you saying?" I asked, genuinely puzzled.
