"Elena," a voice that I recognized to be alpha Lucas's voice mind-linked me. What did he want from me? I wondered.
"Alpha Lucas," I called out calmly.
"I know you must be wondering why I have mindlinked you. I have a lot to tell you, but for now I just want you to know that I am really ashamed of myself and my deeds and for all the Troubles I caused you. I wish you can find a place in your heart to forgive me. It was never my intention to hurt you. I blame myself for everything you went through. I could have been the best father-in-law to you but I was nothing but a scared fool. I don't have much time I just want to let you know that you are a strong woman and the true Luna of the pack.
