Alpha Killian's POV
I took Elena into her room.
"I have set the shower and kept dry clean towels in the bathroom," I informed her. "You should freshen up."
"Thank you," Elena said. I realized there was tension in her voice.
I approached her. "Elena," I called out. "Are you alright?"
"I'm not," she cried out. "My son is missing."
"Relax, Elena. I will make sure Justin is found," I said, my eyes darting to her lips. "I won't stop looking for him until he's found."
"Am I being so worried about losing Justin, Killian? Perhaps, I'm insecure," she muttered.
"No, you're a mother and your feelings are always true when it concerns your child.." I paused to look deep into her eyes, brushed her hair away from her face and whispered "I would do anything for you," before leaning back. "I will protect you and Justin with my last blood."
Our eyes kept darting to each other's lips.
She turned away to face the window, once again.
