Lu Jingyan's lips moved.
Her question had been chaotic, and she couldn't figure out whether his answer referred to her asking "Would you believe me?" or "Would you believe him?"
As if he had guessed what she was thinking, Sheng Xian spoke again: "Before the truth emerges, I won't believe anyone."
Influenced by his work, he had always been the type of person who remained calm and didn't blindly trust anyone's words; for him, evidence proved everything.
