Lu Jingyan almost laughed out loud.
"It's alright, laugh if you want. I'd like to laugh at him too."

Lin Wei worked quickly and efficiently, and soon she had finished chopping and washing the side dishes and arranged them on a plate. Since Lu Jingyan couldn't handle these tasks, she helped by carrying the plate, arranging the dishes around the bottom of the pot as Lin Wei mixed the sauces.
When Lu Jingyan saw Lin Wei come out, she pulled out a chair, just about to invite her to sit, but Lin Wei quietly tugged at her clothes and whispered, "Sister, do you know where the bathroom is?"
Lu Jingyan hesitated for a moment, then asked subconsciously, "You haven't been here before?"
Lin Wei nodded, "This is my first time entering Teacher's home."
Lu Jingyan immediately caught the significance of "entering": "When you came before, Sheng Xian never invited you in to sit?"
