During the last class of the morning, Gu Yu indeed appeared at school.
He stood at the classroom door and called out "report" to the teacher who was lecturing at the podium. After receiving permission, he walked straight into the classroom.
Tang Youran sat at her desk, watching as Gu Yu made his way to the seat behind her. The heavy stone that had been hanging in her heart finally settled to the ground.
After school let out at noon, the students either dashed toward the cafeteria or packed up their things, preparing to go home for lunch.
Tang Youran thought for a moment, turned her head around, and was about to ask Gu Yu what he planned to eat for lunch when he suddenly handed her a box of candy.
"What's this?" Tang Youran looked down at the small box that had been thrust into her hands, paused for a second, and asked instinctively.
"It's for you," Gu Yu said with a twinkle in his eye, his voice deep.
