Three little friends, from getting up to washing up, and then finishing breakfast, had not seen the figure of Tang Dongli throughout the whole process.
It was not until Tang Yuran's mother was preparing to send Tang Yuran and Gu Yu to school that Tang Yuran finally couldn't help but ask, "Mom, where's Dad, how come I haven't seen him?"
Tang Yuran's mother smiled with pursed lips and then crisply said, "Your dad, he's probably still in bed."
"Won't he be late for work today?" Tang Yuran thought for a moment, looking worried as she continued.
"No, he won't. His company isn't that busy lately, and some of the work can be done from home," Tang Yuran's mother said as she smoothly picked up the car keys from the shoe cabinet by the door, and while heading out, she urged Tang Yuran and Gu Yu, "Hurry up, or we're going to be late."
"Oh... okay," Tang Yuran nodded her head and quickly followed behind Gu Yu.
Gu Yu had been staying at Tang Yuran's house for almost a week now.
