The execution ground witnessed the lingering deaths of five hundred thirty-two people. This was the largest case since the founding of Nanchu.

The people of Beian City were shocked. The noble families they had once looked up to had their doors brought down overnight. Those untouchable nobles and young masters, who used to ride in luxurious carriages, were cut down like cabbages.
Witnessing such severe punishments for such grave crimes was enough to give people nightmares for half a year, yet at the same time, it felt immensely gratifying.
