The next morning, Yun Chi was exempt from court attendance, so he didn't wake up early to go to the morning court as usual.
Hua Yan, however, woke up on time, opened her eyes, and saw that although Yun Chi was awake, he was still holding her and lying down without getting up. Hua Yan hummed in agreement, snuggled closer into his embrace, and closed her eyes again.
Yun Chi gently patted her, feeling the soft and warm body in his arms, and his heart softened along with it.

Yun Chi looked down at her, "Can't sleep anymore?"
Hua Yan nodded, "Can't sleep anymore."
Yun Chi smiled, "Then let's get up!"
