After the two left, Hua Zhuo stared at Hua Yan, silent for a moment.
Hua Yan, weary, leaned against the pillow sitting on the bed and looked at Hua Zhuo. "Brother, if you have something to say to me, please wait a moment, and pour me a glass of water!"
Hua Zhuo stood up and poured a glass of water for Hua Yan.
Hua Yan took it, slowly drank the whole glass, and handed the empty cup back to Hua Zhuo.
Hua Zhuo placed the cup back on the table without much thought and sat beside the bed, continuing to stare at her.
Feeling uncomfortable under his gaze, Hua Yan said helplessly, "Brother, if you have something to say, just say it! I'm listening."
Finally, Hua Zhuo spoke, "You must do more than listen; you must answer my questions truthfully, otherwise, I'll write a letter and your marriage to Yun Chi will undoubtedly be called off again."
Hua Yan glanced at his sleeve, where a new letter from Yun Chi was placed; she nodded, "Alright, go ahead."
