Hua Yan accompanied Yun Chi inside the formation for an early meal and after drinking medicinal soup, Yun Chi began to study the formation while she played idly with flower petals. Tired from playing with the petals, she then lay down under a wind-shielding tree and dozed off leaning against the trunk.
Yun Chi watched her with amusement. She said she'd come in to keep him company and she really did just that, not offering even a thread of help in thinking of a way to break the formation.
However, this was a formation set up by her and if she seriously thought it through, she could easily break it. For him, who wanted to experience and understand the mysteries of the formation, it would undoubtedly take away the fun of exploring it on his own.
